My tyre size is 225/45R19.
Quite comfortable considering the 45 profile.
However, not many choice of tyres for this size

QUOTE(19 Degree South @ Feb 17 2021, 09:18 PM) About to change new set of donut! Currently with RFT and thinking of changing to normal one. Wonder any bro got good tyre to recommend. I'm using Falken Azenis FK510,Thanks bro for the feedback. Mine is 245/40/19 RFT. Currently looking for a new set. May I know which brand of tyre are u,using now ? The sidewalls are considerably softer, attributing to the comfort. Very competent grip & handling on wet conditions. |

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Feb 18 2021, 12:26 AM) 225/45 is still 10.1cm sidewall so still reasonably comfortable. Once you start to drop below 10cm then will feel a bit stiff, and below 9.5cm then will feel quite harsh. Indeed. This would be my benchmark for the best compromise between comfort & performance.Switching to normal ones will surely give you noticeable improvement in comfort. Btw how come you change tires so fast?? I thought not so long ago you asked and changed already, no? My other choice of size would be 245/40R19, which retains the same sidewall height. |
