Ok, I admit unker (me) is a bit old fashion.
I prefer to invest in stocks that give dividends (actual value).
Sometimes speculative stocks for capital gains.

Crypto, after reading about it still fails to convince me.
What value does it create to actually make it worth what it is now ?
Besides inflating prices of GPUs and potentially creating pollution from excessive usage of electricity.

Crypto actually reminds unker about the internet bubble when
uneducated peeps overbought the dotcom stocks but crashes later on.

In addition, assuming every crypto owners cash out at the same time.
Who's gonna pay for all that ?

Ok first of all, not all cryptos are equal. Some just have value because its speculative af. Lets use bitcoin and ethereum for example.

1. Replacement of fiat. Watchu gonna do when the govt decides to print another Trillion MYR to give handouts? Your money in the bank gonna get whacked by inflation. At least btc and eth has relatively stable monetary policies which regulate emission/inflation rates. If the majority of the miners do not like the change, the chain gets hardforked and the longest chain will be the one used eventually.

2. Smart contracts and trustlessness. With the ability to use smart contracts, now everybody has the chance to access banking infrastucture. Theres no need for trust when everything is coded into the software. Either party cannot break away from the contract. Your money in your wallet is yours to use, no govenment agency can freeze your crypto without having access to your private keys.

3. Worldwide transfer within seconds/minutes. You dont have to pay ridiculous fees asking you bank to do money transfer overseas waiting for hours/days for the money to be sent. *yaya i know btc and eth networks are congested af, give them time to mature. ETH2.0 coming out in few years and BTC lightning network has seen incredible growth.

Well, whos gonna buy assuming everyone cashes out, i buy all btc if btc drop to 1cent. at least market value will be at least 1 cent whistling.gif

Btw do you realize Luna price is yahudi? Like other platforms so cheap. And the worst thing is their main screen show one price but when u wan buy it's like hiked up... I never have same problem with binance.

Plus link charges 1% for each buy. Fk luna down with luna
