Looks like the S20 FE 5G clear view casing is quite pricey compare to the rest of S20 family.

I'm looking for one since i couldn't find alternative that has similar function to the original clear view case.

Been using for a month now. Seems okay. No issues for me. Not sure if rest of owners here can share the same experience.

Mine is 5G Snapdragon processor.

By the way, if anyone needs S20 FE camera lens protector can buy from me. I have some extra from 3.3 Shopee overpurchase.

Letting go at RM5 one lens. Better if can COD. Delivery, another RM5 within west Malaysia.

I called Celcom and was told, S20 FE wasn't under their VOLTE supported device yet other S20 series supported.

Kinda disappointing.

It's the Samsung's SOP I supposed. Even phones ordered from Samsung store directly will unseal the package to register on behalf for you.

Pretty good deal I would say. I'm using the original Samsung Stand Casing. Solid and handy.

Just checking, looks like S20 FE 5G is still on February security patch. While the other S20 series are on March patches.

S20 FE become forgotten so fast Liao?

And given that India market has released S20 FE 5G, hopefully this will further improve firmware release for Malaysia as well.

Edited - S20 FE would have April by now. For MY unit, March also no where to be seen....

Smart Switch transfer most of the stuff except WhatsApp and WeChat media stuff.

For WhatsApp, copy the entire WhatsApp and paste into new phone. Activate WhatsApp after that. Applies to all Android phone.

As for WeChat, old phone go Settings, Chat backup, Transfer. It will generate QR code for transfer. Make sure it's one same WiFi network for easiest transfer
New phone, login then scan the QR code generated from old phone.

FINALLY S20 FE 5G GETS NEW UPDATE.

Security Patch 1st March 2021.....on APRIL.

MY GOODNESS....

S20 FE 5G latest firmware G781BXXU2CUD1 supposed to fix the ghost screen touch issue.

But for MY region, no where to be seen...

Didn't quite experience it or perhaps just lucky my unit isn't affected. I don't play games on my phone, hence didn't encounter.

Nevertheless it's better to have the patch fix it if it resolves.

Finally latest update for S20 FE 5G which contains the update to fix the touchscreen issue.

I have not experience it. Or maybe wasn't affected. I am using this phone for non gaming purpose.

Here's an interesting changes for Android 11.

To enter Recovery Mode, requires to plug in the USB cable to computer then press Power + Volume up..



I'm trying to clear cache because my Android auto frequently disconnect while driving. Very.....annoying
Not sure if anyone else S20 Fe 5G facing same issue as me or not for AA disconnection.

Maybe need to buy Anker / Aukey Type C cable. Those better quality ones.

For my case, I've tested seems okay with 3 fingers. However 4 fingers will lose slightly tracking on the 4th finger.

Not that of my concern since I'm mostly on 2 fingers usage. Hardly even three.
