S20 FE 5G latest update as of Sept 13. Couldn't really tell what was the large update related.

Yes, I notice that too. There's some slight UI change here and there but very minor. But as of the latest Sept Security patch for S20 FE 5G, it's still on One UI 5.1.

Currently Samsung Service Center at Sunway Pyramid having promo to change battery for only RM99 include labor. 3 months warranty. Replaced my poor battery life of the S20 FE, S9 Plus and Note 9 all together.

Promo run until March 2024, but unsure of specific date.

I'd say it's a good deal to give your current phone another 1-3 years of life span with battery replacement.

Do try to call up. Those Samsung Service center managed by One Mobile Care And Bhd should have the same promo across.

Closest should be the one in Melaka. Only if you happen to pass by.

LCD promo ended 31st Dec 2023. Perhaps wait for next promo.....

You may opt to call in first and enquire. But mostly you'll have to place order and make full payment first. Battery parts may require 1-3 days for it to arrive.

They'll call you once parts arrived and leave the phone with them for half day.

Can opt for NO Format like my case.

For those still using this phone, S20 FE on latest Oct patch with Android 13 and using MAE

Are you facing slow loading into the app? Takes average 13-16 seconds for the logo to load finish before entering the home page of the app.

And as you switch apps back and forth, it'll take again 10-15 seconds before any input is responding.

Maybank contacted me and they acknowledge the issue. Hence all feedbacks will be forwarded to the IT team and shall release a patch next updates.

A little surprise by Samsung with minor security patch for S20 FE 5G.

I would like to know if any S20 Fe 5G user here willing to let go their unit at cheap cheap price?

I'm buying just to use the LCD parts to revive my existing ones as I couldn't power on the phone to extract data from the phone .

Cost of repairs of the LCD cost est to be 570-ish based on Samsung website.

Kinda pricey for it's parts

Took the plunge and buy parts from Taobao. Will self replace it and see how it goes.

Hopefully sea shipment no delayed like air freight

Manage to do transplant. Everything works well and 120mhz lcd also good with the fingerprint scanner under LCD.
End up went to nearby handphone shop and paid RM 10 to have the use the glue to stick back the cover.
