QUOTE(mrhrs @ Dec 30 2021, 08:45 AM) my unit gets the flickering screen too. it only happened right after rebooting my device. The screen flickered a few times, after that no more. Mine used to be like that too. Started a few weeks back. Restart and it would work again. Now my screen has this constant horizontal flickering lines when it decides to work. When the screen is turned off for a period of time, the screen would turn all white with the green horizontal lines and would become totally unusable. I found out the screen would become usable again with the flickering lines when you wait for like 1-2 min lol QUOTE(metalfire @ Dec 30 2021, 10:41 AM) S20+ . I thought mine got like this because I dropped my phone from time to time but a lot of people seemed to experienced this so yeah definitely Samsung's hardware fault.Anyways, the service centre quoted me RM943 for replacement. So yeah. Be careful with your units guys. Mine is the first batch I think since I pre ordered it. Will be the last time I pre ordered anything from Samsung. Might as well go back to Iphone. Wanted to opt for a trade in to the S21+ but it only supports 1080p screen what a joke from Sammy lol This post has been edited by bitebug: Dec 30 2021, 12:13 PM |

QUOTE(Lucas0323 @ Dec 30 2021, 02:17 PM) Nice. But still a lot of complaints from people. I'll avoid the 888 and only the Ultra has QHD resolution so extra avoid lolQUOTE(metalfire @ Dec 30 2021, 02:37 PM) omg ... Oneplus ah...can forget it la, no longer flagship killer like it used to...but hey, if you like to venture there go ahead Because OP has become a flagship QUOTE(kimjs90 @ Dec 30 2021, 02:54 PM) Last time im have used the s21 SD version it quite good..compared to other sd888 that i have used such as mi 11, op9pro quite ok compared to mi 11. Yeah I heard similar but still gonna avoid it. No QHD on the non ultra is an extra reason for me to not go for it. The 888 uses Samsung's manufacturing process instead of TSMC so that's why In terms of sd888 in the phone s21>op9pro>mi 11..thats based on my experience using all these la This post has been edited by bitebug: Dec 30 2021, 03:35 PM |

Finally received my S20 FE 4G today. Indeed, it's a G780G SD version. They gave AKG Y500 headset as well in the box, the receipt said promotional set even though not mentioned in the Shopee listing. RM 1320 well spent! This post has been edited by neuromancerx: Dec 31 2021, 03:49 PM skylinelover, pikafaded, and 2 others liked this post

QUOTE(mrhrs @ Dec 30 2021, 09:55 PM) Yup the service centre said warranty does cover itThis is how mine looked like but I didn't have the green tint or it wasn't that obvious. But now my screen has suddenly decided to go back to normal again. Let's see how long it will last this time. Apparently the S21 has the a black screen of death too lol This post has been edited by bitebug: Jan 2 2022, 01:17 AM bitebug liked this post
