Care to share the product link bro? Most of the 25W chargers sold at Lazada/Shopee are quite dodgy. Dunno if really original or not. With 'Samsung Original' sticker la, SME sticker la. The one Im really confident is with the BBS sticker at the packaging. Cheapest I found is RM69 adapter only (RRP RM79).

Alternatively you just get from official shop of reputable brands like Anker or Aukey or Baesus or Ugreen etc

I have checked with Aukey. Only PA-Y12 72W USB C Power Delivery 3.0 & Dual Port USB Desktop Charger support the S21 up to 25W. At RM189, that model is an overkill for me. Their other model, though support up to 60W, do not support PPS. So will not Super Fast Charge our device. Other brand I havent yet explore.

Hey guys. Im really confused and overwhelmed by the charger situation.

1. What is the difference between samsung's pd pps standard vs other brands pd standard?
2. Do all usb c to usb c cable support these charging standards?
3. Is the battery deterioration better with these new fast charging standards? My s7 edge after 3 years have only 70% battery health.

I'm wondering whether to buy new chargers and cables or use the old quick charge 2.0 chargers that i have right now with usb a to usb c cables.
*
I'm no expert in this but here's what I know for question number 1.

The 25W super fast charging is achieved by delivering fixed 2.77A(9V) (PD) or 2.25A(3.3-11.0V) (PPS). With PPS, the power can be varied by adjusting the voltage to achieve a specific power while for PD, both current and voltage is fixed at certain value.

So, you will not get super fast charging with any 45W PD3.0 charger without PPS as that charger cannot adjust to get that specific 25W. You will only get fast charging at 15W 3A(5V).

I'm guessing for a good experience you should find chargers that support PPS? Haven't found any other pps chargers except the original Samsung chargers. Does the wireless samsung battery pack also give out super fast charging and pps?
*
Yes correct. I can only find 2 third-party brand with PPS which is Baseus (around RM40) and Aukey (almost RM200). I end up bought the Samsung original charger.

As for the Samsung wireless battery pack, yes it will give out super fast charging because 25W is the only output they have for wireless. But for non-wireless battery pack, they have 15W model too so just make sure you get the correct model.

just got answer from Samsung customer care in Samsung members saying that the wireless battery pack does not support pps.

Any ideas about the cables? I'm looking for 2 m cables that support super fast charging. I'm guessing not all cables support pd and pps? Luckily got the adapter from the wireless trio gift.
*
Hmm thats weird. On the product page, it clearly writes PPS is supported.

Currently I am using the this cable from Aukey and it supports super fast charging.

I think in my case since I am using s21 I wont have the edge problem, since it is a flat screen right?

How is hydrogel? Does it feel smooth or sticky when using the phone?

Installing the screen protector is one of the hardest thing for me, know any place where installation is provided?
*
Check this one out

https://shopee.com.my/5-pieces-Samsung-Gala...9326.5081881337

For me, this is the closest one with factory SP. And cheap too. RM10 for 5pcs.

Personally I don't like hydrogel because of the rubbery feeling.

But but rub rub phone feel good

Jokes aside, is the screen protector scratch resistant?
*
Its a plastic screen protector so it is expected to get some scratches after some time. But at RM2 a piece, its the best bang for your buck.

How is it working with fingerprint sensor?
*
Having no problem with the fingerprint sensor at all. Though it is advisable to re-register your fingerprint after each sceeen protector replacement.
