Hi guys, i just read through from page 1 to 89 surprisingly none talking about 8k or 4k video.
Mostly on purchase, accessories, battery drain, overheat, camera photo, setting for better performance.

- Based on my recent testing on video play over youtube, running 4k hdr 60fps video for 1 hour,  from 68% reduced to 49% (drained 19%)
- Its not straight 1hour, it was 20min + 20min + 20min in between have to skip adds, because i could not find true 4k hdr 60p for 1 straight 1 hour.. only manage get for 20mins. if straight 1 hour probably could save battery slightly.
- my display setting with adaptive brightness, running on 120hz, qwhd, vivid
- Yes phone did get heat, but never had any overheating msg.

Ensure change your setting in youtube , to display highest quality turned on for viewing via wifi so you will get optimum display,
U never change, it will reduce to the lowest display suitable for lower data consumption.
And also your S21 ultra resolution must set to highest 120hz, QWHD.
Then automatically you would be able to see what resolution you playing in youtube

Sadly i never seen any 8K content 7680 x 4320, says 8k video but infact its 4k. I was in impression S21 ultra 8k capable phone would be compatible.
Or youtube do not have 8K video yet ?

So i wanted to test recording video in 8K 24fps , i did with 60hz display setting the video was sucks, then i switched to 120hz it is quite good.
Normal 8k video,the file also 7680 x 4320.

I uploaded that video in youtube, checked resolution it was like 720p.
Then i read somewhere once upload, it takes sometime for youtube to render the file to optimum format.
Now i can see that video resolution is 2160p, after few days i believe that is final.
Recorded a video in 8k 24fps HDR, but rendered to 2160p only.

I cannot find proper guide or videos about this camera & video setting.
If you guys have any tips and experience welcome to share.

oh youtube already have now ha 8k, my laptop mozilla and chrome can detect.
However when play in mozila, the video just stops and only sound playing.
In chrome no problem 8k video can play.

if its like that S21 ULTRA 5G not compatible to play 8k video ? Only can record 8k ? And it is not true 8k just 4k ?
because same 8k video in laptop can detects up 8K, but for S21 ultra it is only goes up to 2160p HDR
if S21 8K recording capable, what is wrong to play 8k video ?

Guys about VoLTE,
I checked in my s21 mobile i do not see any volte switch on/off at "Mobile networks". I was looking for something like that, as per telco guide .
I believe the only way turn on/off volte in S21 ULTRA is tweak the setting at "mobile networks" from LTE/3G/2G(auto connect) to 3G/2G (auto connect)
I am CELCOM user. Their website stated only for IPHONE.
Anyway i did call celcom care, enquire about the setting. Seems all they need to do was active my profile, adding some volte component. Once done, i received sms from celcom.
Then i restarted , enable back my mobile network to LTE/3G/2G(auto connect)
Now i can see the volte icon at top.

Article says - "Since VoLTE counts voice calls as data usage, your billing will be in terms of data consumption rather than minutes of usage. VoLTE can also extend or save your battery life. In the present scenario, your network has to switch from 4G to 3G every time you place a call"

That means we make call over volte uses data, how significant the consumption is ?
More data we need to sacrifice for  voice call instead of standard usage like (internet,apps). Not sure is it good idea of turning on this VOLTE.
I did turned off my mobile network, and made call the Volte signal still there.

I'm using Hotlink also but no VoLTE at all...May I know you using Hotlink prepaid or Hotlink postpaid?

I read in article most modern USB devices will draw power from the source, the source does not push it to the device. The buds will not accept more power than they are capable of accepting. You can use any USB charger you'd like. It is helpful to think of it as the buds are pulling power from the charger, not that the charger is pushing power into it. so it doesn't matter, they can't overcharge.

Is that real ? Means we can use 25watt charger or 65wat.. to phone or buds no issue ?

Now days built in battery just create worries of overcharging damage as we could not change battery as we want like old generation phone.

Completed 1 month of usage. Never download any new application. Just existing application from my prevs phone

I total agree with this.  Initially I wanted the mi 11    but in the end don't wait for it. I just get the s21 ultra. Solely because Samsung now promise better software update.  And Samsung now partnering with Google.  Which is a major thing.

Ya it is absolutely terrible sending like that.
But i never felt low quality in my previous phone.
Just in s21ultra the immediate snap photos and video quality terrible.

No. I take photo. Then from gallery to whatsapp. The photo typically compressed down to ~50KB in Whatsapp

But when I receive thumbnail photos from iphone user, their photos are always A LOT clear and when I check their size, typically much larger ~ 200KB

So my question is, how to send clear thumbnail of 200KB from Samsung phone?

Hey guys, any method to push my battery till two days without charging?

2 days without charging ? Then i would say after charge 100% just never touch do not do anything, lets see how long it can last maybe more than 2 days.

If u use heavy with no break even in 2 hour can finish up battery. Just typing text here in lowyat forum
1% reduced in 5 min
100% can reduced in 500min..  so within 8 hour its possible to use 100% of battery just texting here with display ON for 8 hour.

What about after fully charging you shut down and then see how long it takes to deplete the battery.
