After speaking with customer service, I might have to send the phone back to Samsung for repair. Estimated 2 days without s21. Anything I should look out for before sending the phone? I'm guessing I should do a factory reset right?

I more concerning on the battery draining issue. It's very noticeable... No issue if the phone is on idle, but when you start using it, the drain is enormous. Before update I no need charge the phone from morning to night 8pm. Now 6pm ady seeing my battery only left below 30%..
Another thing, does anybody able to go into Recovery mode in android 12? I've tried several time (off phone, then holding the UP vol button + Power button).. It just showing up the boot screen, then a short vibration, then boot into OS directly.  no recovery mode.

I bought a new S21 Ultra for my daughter. In less than 18 months, there is one vertical line of dead pixels on the screen.

I sent to Samsung Service Centre, needs to pay RM 950 to change and don't know when will the spare part arrive. Go to third party supplier, they want to charge RM 1250. Apparently, this is a common problem for S21 AMOLED.

Are you sure a second hand one is worth to purchase?

Tbh Samsung QC got a bit of issues one.
My note 9, S20U all sent for warranty claims before. To their credit if still under warranty, the fix is pretty painless.
Got my devices back in a couple of hours.
Note 9 - camera focus issue, change within a day.
S20U - camera focus issue changed in a day, screen crack (had screen warranty) changed within a week as need to wait for part.
All free.

So far for S21U also I changed the screen once already tho this one is my fault as it dropped from a table and hit a metal edge.
Pretty painless change too. Only 2 hours +/- to change.

Not sure about the state of warranty claims for other brands tho. Last non Samsung phone that I used was years ago, AP set oneplus one. Thankfully no issues that time.
