Do no create UK account. Error code i2501, CS refuse to activate game code.

 My friend and I tried to redeem the game code and received the infamous i2501 error code. Our trial accounts were created many months ago and we bought the game code from official square enix eu store during the sale. This post has been edited by Ota54: Feb 13 2021, 09:26 PM |

 Managed to get refund from Square Enix UK store. Mentioned "Error code i2501" when doing the refund QUOTE(chc82 @ Feb 14 2021, 10:08 AM) From what I read online, the code is not limited to UK region. Even players registered at NA also encounter it. Many methods have been suggested by different players and results are inconsistent. The only thing before retry is to wait for 24 hours after previous retry or else the system will treat the multiple attempts as fraud or hacking. I just started new character with a SG account, no problem when creating it. Not taking chances with the UK account for now. Imagine your character is max level with all classes and you get Error I2501 when you tried to redeem Endwalker expansion. |
