the IKEA chair i bought 5 years ago already started to hancur berkecai already, the wrapping underneath flaked, the wheels also breaking already so want to find an affordable replacement. budget below RM250.00.

for that budget, better search for 2nd hand proper chairs rather than those hype gaming chairs. worse quality than your ikea chair at that budget

don't know eh, haven't do price research but if secretlab is good then don't mind forking out another RM100.00 geh.

don't feel like spending too much on chair la cause it is just an "office chair" for my home, i don't spend more than 2 hours on it anyway.

250 also can’t buy one arm rest from Secretlab.

I have secretlab omega the softweave (fabric) version. Chair is solid, as long as aircon on the fabric also very smooth and nice touch. But the seat suffers from not having any lower back support.

2. If you are willing to pay >700 for those chair, u better buy normal office chair from office furniture brand. More comfort, more durable

Ikea markus is lousy. The seat is too small and the backrest is like pushing ur body off the chair. Not comfortable. Dont know why ppl keep recommend ing this piece of crap.

TT racing is so so for their price.

Ikea Markus has a 10 year warranty, swift x has a 2 year warranty.

my idea, is get the ikea markus, and get separate lumbar support pillow.

All gaming chair brands use standard template come from china supplier....they tweak abit here there only...if really want gaming chair, buy cheap non branded from lazada or shopee...save money...

my TTracing surge been waiting for a months still cant delivery.

I bought my Soft weave type SecretLab chair for RM1700+ (SGD550). Ships from Singapore. Takes 2 weeks time to arrive. Really good chair. Been using it for almost 2 years. Don't get leather, too hot during afternoon and you will sweat.

Sunway Geo got a gaming shop called Area 51/Level 51. You can test the chairs there. But it was before Covid la. Now, I am not sure the current status

Depends on ur body weight. If 80kg and below still ok. Anything above 80kg dont but this. Not solid enough

Depending if you prefer Medium to Firm or Firm to Hard .
Since your budget is not high, i recommend Cooler Master Caliber R2 since it is quite good value for money and it's also Medium to Firm level, if you don't like Hard seats like secretlab.

Also, Cooler Master can recline to 180 degrees. something cooler master cant do.

I'm using a TTracing Swift X 2020 for around 1 year+ to 2 years. That's when the chair starts to fail. The hydraulics will gradually go down by itself when I'm sitting on it. It starts off occasionally, and then almost daily.
I tried contacting their customer service, but they don't even bother to reply. I suspect it's because my warranty is still valid, and they want it to expire. I should've just gotten Secretlab. It was my fault for being a cheapass.

ranting here. 1.5years ttracing maxx air threads cushion lost all its comfortness.. the foam like sunk in oredi. warranty doesnt cover the seat only mechanicals. 1.1k for 1.5 years...
