so 1st step, take apart



used some tools to remove the godawful lots of staples



your arms will "love" you for it

Then, find some suitable replacements



seen here is 2" shipping straps cut to length
(front-back - 63cm x 9 pcs, left-right - 71cm x 7 pcs)

or just buy tonnes of Guitar straps


some staples to the end

Tips: cut a bit of straps, and test staples on some similar wood

Mine is still in good condition...frame still ok. Using since 2006. Changed the cushion twice. Still comfy. Bought mine with the leg rest. Nice.

My 1 13 yrs still ok. Change the cushion to leather more durable. Use the old cushion internal foam to add in the butt side.

Rather than stapler, why dont you take nail and hammer the thing.

I would also advise you to oil the wood. Baby oil works too if you don't have wood oil.
