I've concluded the ownership transfer from the developer to my name via direct transfer. The strata title from land office is now registered under my name. The registration and transfer process was completed late last year.
Today, I went to the district land office to print out the latest cukai tanah for year 2021. I noticed the details of pemilik is still under the developer's name. I thought the name is automatically changed to mine upon the registration of transfer with land office.
How come the pemilik details (name and address) are not updated in the latest bil cukai tanah? Is it true it takes another 3 months for the pemilik details to be reflected in cukai tanah?
Do I need to request for the name change or it supposed to be done automatically?
Thanks.

Mine was subsale back then and the lawyer who handled my S&P + loan only changed my Cukai Pintu name from seller to mine
For cukai tanah, I went to Pejabat Tanah and the person over the counter only asked me to write him my name and he changed for me, not even requesting to sight any documentation / proof

QUOTE(coolguy_0925 @ Feb 9 2021, 01:43 PM) Mine was subsale back then and the lawyer who handled my S&P + loan only changed my Cukai Pintu name from seller to mine For cukai tanah, I went to Pejabat Tanah and the person over the counter only asked me to write him my name and he changed for me, not even requesting to sight any documentation / proof Thanks for sharing. Today I went to the district land office to print out the latest bil cukai tanah. Upon seeing the pemilik name is still unchanged, I've requested the change of name. But the officers told me system is being upgraded, and not available till after CNY. Asked me to check with the city land office pulak. My assumption is ...the name is automatically changed upon the registration of transfer. I've read somewhere in Lowyat that the change of name in bil cukai tanah will only be reflected after three months of registration. Not sure which one is true.

Okay guess you'll have to wait for 3 months and recheck again and if not then throw your question to the city land office
