Play la Anno 1800.
*
Be warned, you will live and breathe Anno wherever you go, whatever you do, even in your sleep you won't be able to escape it...
Do you still want to step into this dangerous water...? biggrin.gif

Stopped for a couple weeks already, it still haunt me in my dream.
Definitely a great game, though one that require quite a lot of commitment.

//--

Currently trying to finish Atelier Ryza 2 (JRPG).
Won't call it the best of the franchise but... it's an OK game. A bit too fast though, would need a battle speed adjustment slider...

What next? Dunno. Maybe Cities Skylines... again? And gave up before barely started?
That is... one game that been lingering in mind for years. Never finish it, heck I never fill up a map even 5%... This game require too much commitment to play... bangwall.gif

there's a reason why I sketch maps, plotting routes, writing down notes on physical paper whistling.gif
it's a game of economy management, while the tools provided by the game is amazing,
using other method you comfortable will make the gameplay less confusing.

having a piece of paper specifically for "I NEED TO DO THIS LATER!!" will also be nice,
I also very often forgot the thing I think I need to do later, such as NPC's quests, only remember about it after half an hour they came back and curse at me for not doing it. sweat.gif

Saw the amazing IMT & Node Controller so decide to play a bit. Haven't touched this game for >year.
Also want to try making some simple assets but currently stuck on a bit of roadblock, if anyone experienced with direct Sketchup -> Cities Skylines lemme know how to prevent the texture went mis-align after export to FBX.
Don't ask me to learn blender/3DMax, that isn't gonna happens whistling.gif

FIXED - turns out it is a bad idea to triangulate the mesh. Don't do it...

Actually got Elite Dangerous for free on Epic Game Store quite a while ago but never touched it. Trying to play it right now. Holy cow the scale of things (and control difficulty),
I tried Eve before but this is definitely much harder to control since this is first person, very easy to get disorientated, but definitely fun to play.
Just researching some newbie guides, trying to make some early money farming pirates first.

Note: Frostpunk is also free to claim on EGS right now. City builder on frosted landscape, campaign missions can be really challenging, unique type of survival city builder game worth a try.

woah another free great game on EGS, they really pull out all the tricks to lure user on their platform eh...
I actually played this already. Unique gameplay mechanics, though Western mystery story aren't exactly my cup of tea so didn't finish it.

More free quality game (steam key redeem)
from the Cities Skylines dev; I actually haven't played this one, thought I played shit tons of CSL (or rather, spend more time modding than playing) sweat.gif

Anyone here using controller to play pc games? which controller is more suitable if using steam account? or all have the same features.

currently looking at ps4 dual shock coz might use it on playstation in future.

I personally find Playstation pad layout not so great, for a lot of games, having analog stick at top left is just better... sweat.gif
But I also don't like Xbox pad for it's size. Specifically the part that you grab is protruding outward... If you hand is big then ok.

I looked around and found EasySMX, probably 99.9% people never heard of it laugh.gif
But I saw good review on shopee so gave it a try, specifically I bought the ESM-9101 model.
It is just slightly smaller than xbox pad, the part you grab is shorter so it didn't feels obstructing for small hand.
It may looks kinda plasticky on picture but it feels really solid on hand, buttons and triggers all solid, don't feel low quality at all.

Talk about Elite, I'm doing OK so far, not the first time dealing with high learning curve game.
But I do get a bit annoyed by some of the game's mechanism.
It IS very easy to farm credit ($$$), but credit is very useless in many cases... such as engineering ('enchanting item' in context of other games).
Dealing with engineering is all forced self-farm, from unlocking NPC to farming 99% of the materials. Can't say I enjoy it much, since I'm more of the "farm money and buy it" type of player. sweat.gif

Its fine if you fan of AC
But for those who actually want to play PoP, Tom Clancy's games like Ghost Recon for example.... Well, it just either nothing happens or they turn the game into something utterly unrecognizable that no longer resemble the original idea of the franchise.
The last decent Ghost Recon was way back in Advanced Warfighter.
It pains me to see what has become with the Tom Clancy franchise these days.

Oh, also the HoMM series, I liked the cardgame spin off as well but then they shut it down....

In term of PoP it practically abandoned as aoon as AC become big. Theres recent announcements of Sand of Time remaster but I not holding my breathe for that... That trailer was kinda terrible tbh.

Stalker Anomaly modding, decade old game, still mod/play it from time to time.
With Stalker 2 coming next year definitely attract a lot of new audience. BUT--- BUT--- BUT--- if you new please start at the Trilogy, not free-play mods. Otherwise you won't understand shit about the game. laugh.gif

trying to continue but don't have the time, I can't clone my self yo...

Ryza 2... duh, gotta find time to finish this. Frankly I don't really quite fancy Ryza series compared to older series.

Genshin... I not exactly like this type of game but I do have interest to explore more & try out more characters. Didn't played much last time.

W10 tile start is good, I don't want to turn my OS into a freaking android copy.
The only thing that matter for gaming is just Direct Storage, but then again that ONLY works for people with new and proper supported hardware.
People like me that run aged hardware will not benefit anything from W11.

When W10 first go into beta I already jump onto it, it just miles better and offer a lot of useful changes.
But W11................. eh.................... I don't see a point. Especially when I am just foreveralone no friend, so those communication/workgroup related bullshit is useless to me.

..--

Let see some features

1, Android Apps - I installed bluestack a couple times but 99.9999999999% of the time I just don't use Android related things on PC.
2, Widgets - this exist way back in XP... W7... but are people really using them? Well, I don't.
3, Teams - I am foreveralone
4, Virtual Desktop - well this exist in W10 alright, but seldom use it
5, Snap Layout - of course this also exist in W10, but without the UI aids. How useful is this UI aids is up to debate.
6, Snap Group - I suppose this is actually neat feature.
7, centered start menu - no? Contrary to new generation of device users, I still refer to set takbar to "never combine", frankly it just faster when applications/whatever are displayed with title instead of stacked icons only.
8, "AI powered" search and whatever - did anyone really use these stuff instead of Google?
9, dark mode - exist in w10

Can recommend games to play while listening to podcasts?

Elite Dangerous, since this game have really... really... long idle/waiting period. Space is big ya'know, it takes time to do things laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif
aside from combat, the game really don't demand very high attention to it. In fact I encourage player to listen/watch youtube when playing certain aspect of it...

In the mean time maybe play Anno 1800 while waiting for Forza Horizon 5 to hit in 2 more weeks...

Gotta draw the line & stay clear of any competitive aspect of FH5...
I am by no mean a fast driver at all, dealing with ranked races & those stupid mini-games in FH4 really makes me hate the game instead of enjoying it.

I was going to play Anno. Installed then uninstalled. Kinda gets stress out dealing with all the productions.

Anno 1800 is definitely [resource management] first, [city painter] second;
unlike other city builder games like Cities Skylines that is [city painter] first, [resource management] second (or not at all by using unlimited money mode) biggrin.gif
