Damn. Next banner 4 stars so good. I'm at 0 pity, no guarantee so I target to snipe some cons and keep the pity for Raiden.

But just in case terpancut awal, is Cyno or Ayato better nowadays? (Don't have Neuvilette but plan to get him next round)

OK, quick update. Somehow I got two Ayato in 20 pulls.
Terpancut way faster than I thought.
5-star that I want I keep losing 50:50 pulak.
Would have preferred losing 5-star 50:50 now so can at least guarantee Raiden.

I'm afraid to pull more now.

Managed to get Shinobu C4. For others my Kirara C3 (target C4) and XL C3 (C4 very nice) but XL at least can buy from shop later.
All 3 4-stars also I regularly use.
For Ayato I actually never wanted him, just the 4 stars on his banner.
Plan was to build pity for Raiden.
I feel a bit cheated since my past 4 banners all lose 50:50 at 70+ pity now suddenly luck so good when I don't want the featured 5-star.
It's like miHoYo got built-in desire sensor.

Xianyun is Cloud Retainer, the bird mama to Ganyu and Shenhe.
Now she is playable is human form, look like Bayonetta complete with glasses.

Madam Ping is tutor to Yanfei and Xiangling. Probably long way to go or never for her to become character.
Only way is to make her younger otherwise cannot sell .

To even be considered for selection for beta testing, you need to be 18+ years old and declare your gov ID (like our IC) and sign an NDA for sure.
This is so there can be no random anonymous beta testers.

Beta clients for testing are meant to log as much data as possible to provide developers information to check for bugs, balancing, issues, crashes etc.
In-game telemetry can easily log your movements, location, inputs, time spent, character info and so on.

In this case with partial UID, miHoYo can cross refer that partial UID with anyone who made those specific movements at that specific location.
To narrow things down, they can even cross refer the character's exact HP since beta testers cannot manually set artifact stat values.
That way with random artifact values you can easily differentiate different beta testers (since beta is also used to test team combos and new artifacts).

Also bear in mind leaks are generally due to seeking for internet fame or just plain dumb people who secretly show off to their friends/family.
Only for their friends/family to post those secret leaks online themselves, which is why simple things like UID gets exposed.
(see recent GTA 6 leaks being allegedly from the employee's son's friend, or his own son )

How much do you think miHoYo would price it though?

5 star Character hard pity is 180 pulls.
5 star Weapon hard pity is 240 pulls.

Price would probably be somewhere halfway otherwise might as well roll since you get 4 stars along the way.

4 stars is worse since no pity system to guarantee what 4 star character/weapon you get.

Exactly. miHoYo won't charge too high outright for direct purchases.
Gacha companies make most of their money from whales and whales will spend money regardless of restrictions.

Putting high prices outright would just kill interest from lower spenders since you violate the main rules of microtransactions.
Like how mobile games make money, you go with small amount microtransactions that sikit-sikit lama-lama jadi bukit.

Example is like buying with installment.
Buy new iPhone cash might seem expensive, but break into smaller installments per month and psychologically is more affordable.
People only see the installment amount and don't see total installments over time paid.

Buy new character RM1k++ confirm people no like.
But ask you top-up primos with smaller prices and people will just remember the top-up price and not the total money spent over time.

I myself lost count how much I spent overall for the rare times I top-up when tangan gatal or FOMO hard to resist (like Kazuha )

Now they are king of gacha money maker with Genshin and HSR sure sombong not desperate for customers yet.

Well I do hope they at least implement some proper anti-addiction regulations. If they don't want to kacau the main money maker (the gacha system), then at least start with other aspects.

I for one hate the dailies. Makes you feel like you are missing out when you don't log in everyday and do daily commissions to claim free primos and BP EXP. Feels like a bloody chore when you have work to do in real life.

Prefer if they made it weekly targets so I can log in when I am really free to enjoy my time playing. Same thing with Welkin forcing everyday log-ins to claim your full amount of paid primos.

At least for BP one thing I like is that you can actually easily max out BP levels from weekly targets and event EXP. First time I got BP I did daily targets often but max out BP levels so early. After that I just don't bother much with daily BP targets.
