Feel like this is some sorta new playstyle that Mihoyo is introducing i.e. after burst, it forces us to DPS with that character for a while before swapping out. Baal have the same concept as well. One regen HP from every hit while another regen energy from every hit. So far, only Baal & Kokomi has this sort of playstyle. So those 2 are definitely out for any 4 pax quick swap playstyle, 3 pax quick swap is more likely especially with Baal.

saddest anniversary event i've ever seen for a gacha game. I dont know wtf happened to the genshin team lol, are they sad that the game blew up too quickly?

this is not about inexperience, this is purely....greediness? they are grossing for over 1billion and they're giving absolutely NOTHING. everything they've done for the anniversary is just telling the players to advertise genshin for them. 

shit like this wouldnt happen if they just give the players one 5star of their choice from the standard banner. so easy man/

After the recent Anniversary fiasco seems like popularity of the game went down a lot. Tectone and Mtashed posted videos criticizing MHY.. Tectone even started uploading another game to his youtube. Then this forum also quiet down a lot. One star reviews in app store also still present.

Sad to see the company did that to themselves.
Likely future banner sales also will be affected. If it does good also give a wake up call to MHY to start listening to their players.

Maybe MHY deserve to go through that one time..  since the game is a surprise success for them and now they don't know how to handle it. They are quite a young developer also with Genshin being their 2nd game after Honkai.

I want build harem team, but mihoyo gave me Diluc. High level players say I need Benny and Xingqiu in my team. My dream waifu team... where art thou?

Genshin is feeling more like a chore now.
1. They’ve yet to fix the resin system. Farming artifacts with resin for days or weeks with nothing to show is frustrating. And when players don’t feel progress, things get dry.

2. End game during launch is the same as endgame today. 36 stars abyss. That’s it.
Was hoping they add more abyss modes or at least give us more levels.

3. The story in the latest patch is a snoozefest.
- no animations. All just dialogues and us pressing next.
- doesn’t advance any plot regarding raiden, saving our sibling or any usable characters. Literally a filler within a filler (story wise)

4. Current event is a mindless hack and slash which I do not mind. But they could have done more with Childe. Was hoping he at least mentions the other harbingers. But so far nope.

All this makes it dry.
Filler story. Dry (similar) gameplay.
Stuck in both the narrative and gameplay standpoint.
