If compare to honkai, I'll say when I have nothing to do in game I can bring my character for a walk around. Rather than honkai I can only stare at the character at lobby. TBH I play honkai only last 6 minutes I uninstall dy coz either you're doing quest or you're staring at floating paper at lobby. You can't even view the character at different angle.
Genshin at least I can go visit some scenery, doing stupid things eg: throwing xingqiu and venti down the cliff and so on.
Really ah? For me I started playing on 01 April 2018 till today still got thing to do, events are great, story are great and interesting athrough is a very touching story that made people cry. Gacha not worst than genshin gacha. Well I play 1 hours on honkai for fast action and 1 hours on genshin for me to relex.
Yep, what I want is when I don't want to do quest or event I can control my character go around. Maybe visiting my friend's world and we have a chat since now mco we can't sit at kopitiam. Then play some minigames from event like the hide and seek last time is pretty good. Should've make it permanent.
Now also ok la because we play boat racing at the new map.
OH I forgot to mention chibi dorm and beach, can also visit other players dorm or beach.
About summer event in genshin, too bad I lv 11AR. Only can watch YouTube for Klee and her friends adventures story end.

Wow Challenge II Oceanid is so damn hard. At Expert difficulty active char will lose 50% current HP every 8 seconds 😢
Remind me back then honkai abbys challenge also like that, the faster you defeat mob less headaches worrying character hp. Have your best suitable character all max out whatever they have to run challenge will ease you.
Blame mihoyo for making it too tight with the starter pulls, people rather pay money to 3rd party than gambling with their luck/time.
Many modern gachas have more humane starter draws, either by picking directly or unlimited 1st rolling. How much harm will it do just let everyone have a direct access to their 1st 5*?
That why me been playing honkai 4 year the gacha is better than genshin. I can get characters in 2 or 3 run in 10 supply drop. Some even just 1 run in 10 supply drop can get the character. Same go to weapons and stigmata. Maybe just genshin is a different game play with lot of characters class compared to honkai, also even within same company name but split into two teams one is honkai and the other genshin.
