Electro-charge single target damage is quite high actually. I had a full EM Thundering Fury for Barbara for fun. Thinking of using EM TF Barbara again by adding dendro to the team. Healing number dropped down a lot, but with the set shorten CD passive, her skill can be permanently active, so no problem with healing, as she's also a tank DPS that way. I don't recommend non-bored player to try this though.

That being said, the CD shorten passive in TF is often overlooked. There's no suitable hydro or electro with broken skill in the game yet. It's the only set that lets you spam skills.

Any catalyst user can be a healer with prototype amber.
Qiqi is a healer too, but she still can go physical DPS.
Besides, with Raiden permanent electro skill, and possibly Nahida permanent dendro skill, anyone can become DPS.

Why does this Barbara look different?
How is she a good DPS in your definition? I watched youtube and tried her out on the trial event. Dunno what I am doing with her. Probably too noob.

From past experience, no. And it's pretty draining to go through the artifacts one by one.

Same old artifact RNG. At least now you can specify Witch instead of getting only lavawalker.

Personally, I've felt my chances with the actual artifact domain to be better than the strong box.
For me, I feel those fodder 5 stars might be better spent as level up materials.

I've good enough artifacts sets for all the characters I've now... other than 4 set TF for electro characters and the 2 new dendro artifact sets.

Same level of RNG.

It might feel "better" if you're feeding hundreds of fodders at a time. Because you'll get a lot more in return. So, the chances of getting a good one are obviously more.

Compared to farming from the domain, with 5 condensed resins....you can get around 10 pieces per day only.

10 new pieces vs 100+ new pieces.

That's more than 10x more chance.

Hydro characters are generally very efficient "drivers/enablers" (I still hate this gen Z term coined by gen Z players lol). See Childe and Kokomi, and with hydro being the lynchpin in the reaction table, I'm not surprised. But yeah, only certain hydro folks fulfill that criteria, someone like XQ/Yelan are better off playing off-field.

Btw 1024kbps try building Barbruh 4pc OHC. Might kick your barbruh damage a notch higher. Should get you through most difficult contents if you're playing the reaction game.

Don't mix and match the pieces if your goal is to increase Barbruh's damage output. Besides... Maiden's Beloved as an artifact isn't that competitive anymore now we have OHC.

Just go 4pc OHC, HP% or ATK% or ER%/ Hydro% or HP% or EM/ Crit% or HP% or EM depending on what you want your Barbruh to achieve. That's sands/gob/circlet in that order.

Farming Clam set isn’t very efficient use of resins imo.
Unless you’ve albedo, itto or a noelle main.

But if you’re dead set on Barbara dps, then by all means.

When you farm the clam domain, you will also get the opulent set, which is currently is the best set for any geo character.

It's largely irrelevant now, since your can turn any extra 5 stars into clam set now.

Those are defense scaling characters.

Getting a HP-HP-healing bonus set shouldn’t be too difficult. As crit doesn’t really matter.

Also, different element goblets are typical.
I’d keep the electro goblet. But the cryo goblet can be used as level up material / strongbox exchange.

Post v1.2 artifacts sets such as Millith, Pale Flame, Emblem, Clam and Husk are not available in Strongbox convert.
