Hi guys, recently I just bought dual Deco M5 for my home use. For the first two weeks, the Deco M5 was running fine in PPPoE mode. However, there is no internet line today. I try to reset the M5 and reconnect all the cables but still no internet. Then, I reconnect with the previous Maxis Archer c5v router and the internet works fine. However, some features such as QoS can't use sad.gif so currently running in access point mode

I already switch with another unit of M5 to set as the main router but still no internet access before setting up. Anyone solution? Should I buy those higher grades of cat6 cable in Shopee to try?

I can't even enter the setup process because there is no internet access when connected directly to the modem...

Don't confuse modem and router yeah.

If you want to change to deco M5 you shouldn't have to touch the modem (huawei, ZTE, FibreHome) box

Connect your deco to LAN 1 or LAN 2 of your modem depending on infrastructure (1 if on Maxis infra, 2 if on TM infra , then select the VLAN properly for your infrastructure (maxis tm or maxis self)

If you do want to mess with the modem itself, it has no DHCP server so you have to manually assign IP to reach it

Anyways, since it did work before it's odd it stopped 2 weeks later.
