Not unless we get someone who can use draconian measures to set things on the right path and demolish decades of cronyism and corruption thats embedded into our entire system. This post has been edited by borgeouisbella: Jan 31 2021, 08:40 PM daisiesdontdoit92 and WhitE LighteR liked this post

Malaysia don't have good leaders that is willing to make such drastic changes. The longer the practice is let be, the worst it will be ingrained into the society mindset.

It will no change.
Because it has been embedded into our life/culture since birth. You grow up with sayings like if you naughty I will send you to the rubbish truck ah nei. The Chinese very money minded only think of money. The malay very lazy sap kok lu, the Indians all drink all day and all night. You would have to remove 50 years of brain washing. Plus the wealthy doesn't want to change and the educated can't make the change alone and the uneducated don't know if the change needed. |

Influence the next generation. It's too late for us. Equality was never meant for our generation, not even for our children or grand children. We can only influence the next generation and next generation and next generation bit by bit until it is deem unacceptable.
Teach the children to accept other races, be kind, work together. We all deserve our government. As long as we are unwilling to change it with whatever it takes no matter how distasteful it will be, we will have to accept what we deserve. |

99% of my friends already called Singapore as their new home. Here we have unstable government, endless squabbling politicians, corruption, race and religion issues.
But I still believe there is future in Malaysia and Malaysian. All is not lost yet. |

Actually there is no single leader that can unite the nation.
That is why we are at this stage. |
