Influence the next generation. It's too late for us. Equality was never meant for our generation, not even for our children or grand children. We can only influence the next generation and next generation and next generation bit by bit until it is deem unacceptable.
Teach the children to accept other races, be kind, work together.
We all deserve our government. As long as we are unwilling to change it with whatever it takes no matter how distasteful it will be, we will have to accept what we deserve.
