All your tires are having almost same thread pattern. Nothing too aggressive with big ribs. So not surpring ps4 took the lead.
What tyre can rival PS4? (That is around the price range)
Tested. Cheap and good tires, For spirited driving

QUOTE(Icehart @ Jan 31 2021, 09:56 PM) I think for overall performance. Meaning low noise, good wear rate, good grip dry n wet, etc best should be michelin ps4 d. Only bad is price factor, quite expensive. If you are like me, dont care noise, dont care so much wear rate, only wan super dry grip, acceptable wet and cheap. Then can try this sumaxx. Basically all i care about is grip and price. |

QUOTE(Icehart @ Jan 31 2021, 10:06 PM) In comparison, i think in dry grip my sumaxx should be same or better than your ps4. I cant be sure but im comparing with ps3, and the sumaxx feels much grippier in dry grip than ps3. For your size, sumaxx can get for rm210. Yours rm350 per tire. Anyone using DeeStone tyres? Vincente.
Used twice now and pretty good. Cheap, good dry & wet grip, low noice and lasting. Going for Deestone RA01 once there's stocks. Wanted for a long time now. I've tried PS3, Conti, Dunlop, Bridgestone turanza...allokay but not lasting and pricey. Still Deestone is more affordable and good performing so far. |

QUOTE(IamAHuman @ Jan 31 2021, 09:11 PM) Good for you TS. Don’t care about those who are skeptical on China made tyres. Let them continue to buy high price Michelins etc. For pickup truck on 15" steeliesAnother brand you can try is Altenzo which has been around for quite some time. I used Goodride once. Cheap.. 235 per piece. Dry grip OK But economy wise it just botak too fast. Way too fast. Couple years already botak. 99% (traded in with whiskers) bridgestone HT from stock hilux rim or Yokohama AT lasted much longer. Especially AT tyre since its thicker tread than HT. It still has 70% remaining even after couple years. ----- For small ride of maivee/mirage class 185/55/15 Had excellent experience with PS2, stiff sidewall, precise cornering, wet grip Goodyear NCT5, meh. Yokohama Parada Spec2.. soft sidewall, mushy feel in corner, dry grip OK, wet grip so so Then after getting mirage Ecopia hopeless tyre, dry grip also activate ABS when stopping for red light PS3 first set PS3 second set (currently) ----- For poorfag cruising on old camry 16" Yokohama C drive, dry grip OK, wet grip scary when almost bald even driving 0-30 Falken ZE912, meh. Cost more than toyo. Grip is not there if its not nice hot sunny day. Toyo NE03 fronts and shift Falken to the back, grip is more predictable, all rounder general use tyre. Got a set of 50% Primacy 3 with used 17" newer model camry rims, everything is good Next change maybe consider GY F1 Sport or just go with Primacy 4/ PS4. Primacy 4 only 20 bucks diff per tyre with GY F1 Sport. Saw some ER33 bridgestone but AFAIK these were standard OEM tyre from Toyota, I never used before but I think its kinda overpriced for the brand but performance like NE03? Anyone can comment? I had bad experience with Ecopia This post has been edited by ceo684: Jan 31 2021, 10:53 PM |
