I beg to differ that Michelin’s extra premium is for name sake only. The XM2 or XM2+(Much improved) have easily better treadwear than CC6 or GY assurance. I have did over 100k km with the Xm2 but have change it due to 5years aging, still easily another 20k to be go before reaching the TWI. The CC6 and GY assurance running 50k mileage already reach TWI. So the value proposition from this Michelin entry series tyre comes from its longevity and lasting performance.
I did 115K km with about 2ish mm tread left with XM2 on Avanza front axle .Current set of rear XM2 tyres has done 100K km with about 2.5 mm tread life balance .
Michelin has 6 year warranty on its tyres .
I believe 10 year life post production is kind of standard ...
