I clean daily as well, with cotton bud.
Cant tahan if i dont clean it.
Been doing it since i was a kid.
Went doc check and was happy he said my canals were clear and clean.

They say cotton buds bad but i used it for years liao.
Just make sure to get the wax to stick on the cotton then u good
