Want to replace my ps4 thermal paste but I see a lot of different brands on shopee and lazada. Anyone here can give me recommendations? Also do I need to buy anything else besides the thermal paste?

Just get a thermal grizzly kryonaut paste. It's slightly expensive compared to other brands, but still affordable around rm20-30.

You need 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to clean the existing thermal paste before applying a new 1, you can get it from any pharmacy. I strongly suggest not to use grizzly kryonaut, that thing is liquid metal, if you are inexperience in applying thermal paste, the chances of short-circuiting the board is very high, In the future if you are looking to clean your PS4 again it's going to be a big hassle not to mention the advantage it offer is not that significant. Strongly recommend to use Arctic MX-4 thermal paste. Excellent conductivity and easy the apply.

Kryonaut is non conductive paste. Conductonaut is liquid metal.

Check your facts next time.

MX-4 is ok, but Kryonaut is still better. MX-4 also dries up quicker than Kryonaut.

Also, you may want to get some thermal pads to replace the ones for the RAM and VRM.

+1 on the Kyronaut

I've changed mine few years back, my pro now sounds more like an EV engine compared to a jet engine last time

also Zippo lighter fluid is easier to find compared to the 99% Isopropyl Alcohol, can use that to clean up the TIM

Thermal Grizzly Kyronaut is a good one! You wanna get some thermal pads too with 1mm in thickness. GELID GP-EXTREME or Thermal Grizzly minus 8 are some you can take into consideration.
