Bought Yes Kasi Up from Shopee for RM1 to try and was horribly dissapointed. I couldn't believe how bad YES is.
Did my online registration through YES App. Everything went well and registration was successful. Somehow the sim card cannot be used at all (no internet, no sms, no phone calling, nothing).
Called YES for help on the 13/01/2021.
Received a call from a technical support officer wanted to assist me. Failed horribly. The officer seems to have no idea how the system works. Asked me to submit all relevant documents for manual registration. Documents submitted on 14/01/2021.
Until now still cannot use it. Talked to 5-6 people from YES all seem to have no idea what is the issue and no idea how their system works. 1 officer even told me the registration has been completed and I cannot use it due to coverage (eventhough I stay in a major city center)
Probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. Horrible experience. Wasted probably RM20 to call them.

yes sim card bandwidth compatibility is very limited to certain phones. also their coverage is not as good as other major telco. so for rm1 can try la to see if work or not.

QUOTE(wualalala @ Jan 22 2021, 02:43 PM) based on supported device list, realme 6 & 6i are supported to Yes network.. Next, is your 4G turned on with VOLTE on too? Is realme have 2 sim cards? if yes, you need ensure YES sim is activated the 4G not below than that..This is because some devices where when there is two sims, one of it would be 3G whilst the other would be set as 4G by default. Next, your location at major city center, mind tell specifically Jalan xx, State? Not sure about VOLTE as I not familiar with phone. Tried to take out my main sim card and only insert YES sim card. Tried only YES sim card on both slot 1 and slot 2. All cannot.

Valid for most telco. Fill anything as long not blank. Stupid YES don't trigger auto SMS welcome to YES yadayada or when changing new phone. voice call ? VoLTE can't help cos all my phone never show VoLTE with unifi/webe digi yes

I cannot sms, make phone call, use mobile data or even call that number from other phone. 1 of the officers I dealt with did ask me to change some network settings including apn but they did nothing. By this point I gave up already. Talked to so many people from yes and they seem to have no idea how their systembworks. I was thinking of switching from either hotlink and Digi to yes but now I know yes is much much worse than the big 3.

Have you tried restart your phone? Mine no problem, restart the phone after activated then start to have line... Better signal and speed than my tunetalk inside the house.
Phone: MI A2

Better signal and speed than my tunetalk inside the house. Phone: MI A2 Tried everything, even change phone to a different phone. Tried slot 1 and slot 2. Tried take out the other sim card and left only yes sim card in both slot 1 and slot 2. The phones can detect the sim card. No problem during registration but cannot use at all. Also, the customer service for YES is HORRIBLE. They will never be able to assist and took ages for them to respond.

I believe there is an issue with the registration (ie. not active sim card). However, when I registered, everything was ok and I even got a successful registration message. I even emailed them my NRIC and other related documents for manual registration. At the end, YES customer service people keep saying registration is successful and i should be able to use.... I am done with YES. Their customer service is way behind the big 3 and even TM. This post has been edited by ru40342: Jan 23 2021, 01:22 PM

QUOTE(COOLPINK @ Jan 25 2021, 01:15 PM) lookd like ipoh coverage gooding now. used to be very bad. Only complain is the upload speeds which I think is only 10Mbps. I'm using Yes 4G just for updating my backup phone's apps and casual news reading. Need to burn away my accumulated over 1 years worth of monthly top-ups. Other than that my home FTTH fixed fibre connection which gives way better latency and stable speeds throughout the day.
