Apparently the D3 can only do 9fps @ fx format, 10-11fps @ dx format
Dual compact flash slot...wow....

look at the cam3500 af points layout:

super easy composition, even n00b can become pro with a little bit of practice whistling.gif
I hope the dynamic group af is a little smarter now, it always chooses the center point as main focus point on d200.
Rob also says that the lcd refresh at 15fps....jerky. Nikon decided to put more pixels on the LCD than sensor laugh.gif now it suffers half the refresh rate

a price to pay for easy-pro-wanna-be................... laugh.gif

I have no problem paying the price to be a "pro wannabe" whistling.gif good equipments = pro automatically...or so it seems for some.

40D's noise is from beta pictures is very good, iso3200 is extremely usable.

Some noobs can't even handle heat, dirt, leeches, a lil' bit of hill climb and looses patience when harassed by complex security personnel or from other fellow photographers, they can't even control basic human behavior how to be professionals? A bit of practice means one step further in noob-ness, not even near to deciding whether to go pro or not.

You forgot to mention about those n00bs who can't even handle a 2-3kg camera rig for more than 15 mins. The camera doesn't guarantee everything, but a good one sure helps a lot in many other ways. I'm building up muscle to better carry my rig whistling.gif it's gonna increase in weight...by alot....

Thats a good one laugh.gif . Will surely be an exclusive club.....

Shutter sound plasticky, like a toy machine gun IMO. But thats probably due to the recording at that particular review.

D300 @ iso6400 sample picture:
http://www.slrclub.com/bbs/vx2.php?id=newp...sc=asc&no=20929
looks better or like D200 @ iso1600 or less. Good, but not stellar after all the raves. Hopefully D3 is better than this.

ISO 1600 is considerable
ISO 3200 for D200/D80 horrible

good that D300 has better noise control
