together with a 65 watt amp ..from here... hahah... am also in a band...

more towards funk/slap/groove stuff....

currently blown on a wall...hope to overcome my block with my new bass...(brand new motivation and wat ever else that comes with it!! )

yea..i think u hv to open the plastic plate at the back check the nut that secures the jack to the body of the bass... its probably loose..


well...my bass has a neutrik locking jack..ehheeh...aint gonna happen

yea..plastic at the back with screws..its just a plate .u open it can see all the electronics... im not sure whre to get a neutric... it came with my btb series...

i started with a rbx 170 blue... lasted me quite long.. been playing since i was 16.... so just last year i got my btb405..
so id vouch for the yamaha.. i bought it fer about 700...managed to sell it for 450 ( with strap and ritter casing... heavily used)... so its not a problem.. would have loved to keep my yamaha for old times sake but due to bad settings up ( patially my fault for not cheking gauge of strings when changing) and then adjusting truss rod ..... aih...... it has warp and bow... but tat after 5 years of playing and thrashing..

i vouch fer the rbx.. its a good bass

im having sumprobs with my laney 50 wat amp...
its having buzzing when the volume is 70%... im on an active bass..
the speaker has a small hole innit.... the thing is the distorted sound comes out only when stressed...
