Hi Wilson Low,

If you decide to pursue a Master's Degree because you feel that it gives you a perk of getting a better salary and job opportunity, then the answer is no.

But if you decide to pursue it because you want to know more about your subject matter or because you want to venture into education, by all mean you should.

Before you proceed with a Master's degree, may I suggest you enroll in English classes? It would help a lot in your Master degree (research-based especially)

You can negotiate with PTPTN to allow you pay once start working after your Masters. My friend did it and he took PTPTN loan from diploma> Masters

If I am in your place, I would find alternatives while waiting for interviews maybe grab or other delivery service

I will also try to do internship first if there is really no opening for permanent roles

Try to avoid adding more commitment as based on your story you have already some loans.

May the force be with you πŸ’ͺ🏼πŸ’ͺ🏼πŸ’ͺ🏼

WILSON LOW while this may sound like an insult, it is a legitimate advice. You have no idea how much value it adds to you simply being able to speak proper English, simply put if there are two applicants of equal qualifications for the job, I'd go with the one who can carry himself well.

I am 28 years old, just graduated Bachelor of Human Resources at private university. I am still seeking for a job. But, government was implemented MCO in some states, especially KL and Selangor. This was caused me very hard to find a job and unemployment rate was rose in previous month. The unemployment rate may increases again in the coming months. So, I am intending to pursue Master degree, but I have financial issue and I also need to pay back PTPTN loan for my previous Bachelor studies. I am confusing now. How should I do?πŸ˜₯

No, bad idea. If you already have a Bachelors degree, getting a Masters degree does not improve your chance at getting a job, nor does it improve your pay. IMHO getting a Masters degree only makes sense if you either want to change field, or you want to pursue Phd and become researcher in your current field.
