If I release my brake slowly and stop again esp at traffic lights, I can hear this creaking metallic sound coming from my rear, as if some hinges is not well oil. The brake is working well just the noise is annoying for a car that is quite new on the road.

QUOTE(LarryPizzaGuy @ Jan 15 2021, 03:21 AM) It only happens when you're braking and creeping forward at the same time right? i used this car for 10 years. never had such sound. That's the sound of the brake pads gripping on the brake disc trying to slow down your car.... . . . . Genius... QUOTE(kurangak @ Jan 15 2021, 03:44 AM) the same reason u can make noise rubbing chalk on chalkboard. if it is normal, why some car got this sound and some car dont have ?anyway it is normal. brake is not just bite or no bite. theres a 'zone' in between. the problem (in my experience) usually worse if ure using aftermarket/oem brake pad/rotor, or ur car is old. n as far as im aware, it doesnt impact performance. only abit annoying thats all |
