Need suggestion to upgrade stock tyre to wider tyre. Is it ok to use 185/55 tyre for Bezza stock rim? (5j) Planning to change it when receive my new car with stock 175/60 tyre.

Some tyre on list for the size, GY Assurance triplemax, Michelin PS3..

Any shop in Selangor area with good price for either of these tyre?

Thanks in advance.

Normally stock rim you can up a size for tyre width 175-> 185

Can consider Continental ComfortContact CC6 or bridgestone Ecopia EP300 185/55 R15

For 5j, minimum width 155, max width 185, ideal is 165-175.

GY Assurance Triplemax 2 for all round & balanced performance.

PS3 would be the best performer for grip & handling.

Why change? If want to change might as well change rims too with wider 6.5-7jj then can use 195/55/15 cuz that's the closest conversion size in diameter. As for the tires, go for either PS3 or RE004 cuz those are the best 15' tires now.

Stock tyre come with hankook kinergy ex. Just want to change to better wet grip tyre compare to it.

Might consider your suggestion to change the rims together.

Go for 185/55R15. This is the closest upgrade tolerance. 195/55R15 will rub fender.

My experience is similar to @amscouzach57 , only 40-45k. On a light car with 195/50R15 and heavier car with 205/60R16. So I don’t think weight or size matter much on the longevity of the PS3. All in all, PS3 is the best tyre can be had in the smaller rim region. I can frankly tell you it’s overkill to fit this into a Bezza. If u lose control with this PS3 on a Bezza, probably other aspect of the car gave up before the tyre reaches its limit.

Add on: GY assurance triplemax? The one stock on myvi icon? Road noise is higher than ps3, grip not bad but definitely not ps3 level, treadwear probably can do around 50k tops. Comfort? Nope. I’ve seen good review on triplemax2 maybe that one is better idk no experience with that yet.
