Wow that’s actually high for senior executive.

This is shared service centre rates for senior at the high end.
Junior around 3.8 and above.

im senior exec and my senior also higher than me

didnt expect shared service pay also high...i tot all pay low....optimized cost to limit

some co can give up to 6k

depends on company lol.
all position also same.

How about a manager in a small accounting firm? Like XXX & Co. or XXXX & Associates...

my ex manager earning 5.5k only.. small audit firm. Pxxxx & Co

Executive - 3k - 5k
Senior Executive - 5k - 8k
Manager - 8k - 12k
Senior Manager - 12k - 15k
Director - 15k+
C-level - 20k+

basic, excluding allowance.

This one is more likely the reality rate on average

So when here all talk about earning 5 digit salary MINIMUM, means all at least manager and above ?

In IT line, it's not necessary to have at least Manager title to get 5 digit salary

Basically this is exact the salary range at JB, Penang area for most salaried employers..

My first job after uni is in KL , that time I earned 3k as engineer, not sure on higher level salary at KL as I left KL later. based on LYN members post KL working salary looks much much higher, like senior exe can EASILY get 5 figures once you have 3-5 years experience. Not saying impossible, indeed some are really good who can earn this but not majority average can. (Like me an average guy)

I did have some friends working at KL, and what I heard is KL salary for junior, senior exe, manager are only around 5-10% higher, mostly 30% higher(rare case, if you have connection to the boss) than JB, Penang. Not 90% KL employee earning 5 figures salary

Not butthurt, just my opinion working as salaried employee is relatively easy and stable job, compared to doing own business or commission based job, so how high salary you can expect? Unless you are irreplaceable and have special skills.

I believe not many in IT line right .. otherwise who will fill others kind beside IT ..

But ... most and almost all here brag about their salary or just words without weight ..

Manager - 7k - 11k
Senior Manager - 11k - 14k
Director - 14k - 16k
