Perhaps the thermal paste application on that GPU is really bad? Don't know for sure until you remove the heatsink to see the TIM application

My 2080 Ti at full load on air-cooling also reaches 80°C. But that's a 2080 Ti. Yours should be a lot cooler

**No, Gigabyte does not void the warranty for removing the heatsink, as long as you don't cause any physical damage while doing so
