The netis one crap shit from TM. Previously when my house was under VDSL they provided me this orange shit and during the first MCO last March the WiFi stop working 😑. Just get a router during the upcoming 4.4 sale. The WhatsApp video call lagging right till now I have no idea is it really the phone or network issue. After change to my own router, my mom's phone still have this issue. As I mentioned since it only affected to 2 person whom she always makes call, one of them using the 100Mbps with the stock TP link AC1200 router and another one is VDSL with the orange netis(They are staying in condo at KL but no fibre yet 🙃). Since you have only mentioned its 30Mbps you can get the Dlink which I got for myself. This router is too good for the price. Follow the Dlink Shopee store and during the 4.4 sale between 12am-2am, the price will drop to RM 140. Then they will provide you RM 5 voucher. Claim and apply it before checking out. Guys, I want to ask something. Last month I upgraded from Streamyx to Unifi since it's finally available in my taman but yesterday, my speed got downgraded from 100Mbps to 1Mbps suddenly but the upload speed remains 50Mbps. So, I contacted TM and asked them to refresh but still the same and suddenly it is fixed around 2AM like that so I contacted them back and they said it's probably the router. The router probably could not handle high traffic and usage. I'm currently using the TP Link AC1200 provided by TM. They asked me to upgrade to Wifi 6 router their chipset is much more better and can handle heavy usage. Is it true tho that it's the router's fault ? I really want to upgrade anyway but asking for a confirmation first.

TM contractor just installed their pole yesterday and today they will come to install my 300mbps package.

Just want to ask, what I need to ask the technician installer after he done the installation? Like checking the noise and such, what it is called?

I would like to check, can I change the name of the unifi to my name, but location of unifi remain unchanged ?

1. no more contract, will change name make another 24 months contract? what is the process? Is this call transfer of ownership?
2. current plan is RM109 for 300mbps + TV ultimate pack, can I keep this?
3. any promo that give better price for unifi plan?

i ask customer service and they told me my unifi is bundled with hypptv, cannot removed one.

Only the rm89 30mbps can exclude hypptv, other plan started 100mbps all must bundle

what I remember through a conversation with the department.

RM 159 price for 300mbps + Mesh. Add RM10 if I want to keep the Unifiplaytv plan (Aneka+, Ruby+, Varnam+).

RM159 - 300mbps, Mesh, Remove UnifiPlayTV ID (No UnifiPlayTV ID)
RM169 - 300mbps, Mesh, Unifiplaytv ID (Aneka+, Ruby+, Varnam+).

Those package with UPB can only change after finish contract. Otherwise you have to pay penalty for the UPB contract.

Is it normal to get like 500mbps on speedtest even when using cat6 cable? I subscribed to 800mbps package. Upload speed is consistent at 200mbps.

I can see that the my internet speed in network properties is fluctuating, sometimes it lists 866.7mbps, some times 600mbps, most of the time 500mbps.

Before this I use the default unifi black AZ-tech router and the M9 Deco Plus on dynamic IP mode, can get 800mbps. Today I changed to use PPPoE mode with the M9 Deco to reduce cable clutter, I can only get 500mbps.

My house is the only one connected to the TM fibre black box outside.

Doesn't seems like it was caused by the cable because yesterday I was getting  788mbps download speed before I changed the M9 Deco setting to run on PPPoE mode. Might be caused by the M9 Deco or Unifi. Or maybe this is a sign that I should downgrade to 500mbps package and save 100 bucks on bills. I'm not even sure why I choose 800mbps package.

Does live streaming game needs 200mbps upstream speed compared to 100mbps upstream in cheaper package?

If not using UPB instead other atv box and logging in via Playtv wireless still need to config vlan ka?

unless subscribe to promo plans such as Loyalty plans that are not included by Unifi TV
