hmmm... I can still access from my end?!

Hmmm, I dunno. Is your DNS on auto? Check your DNS. Maybe you are using a VPN and you forgot.

Maybe because mine is using this stupid Google DNS.

Which was set by the TM people when they came here many times to do a lot of time wasting activities during the month long bad routing episode which you can see from maybe 10 pages ago.

The problem only got resolved on March 20. And I am not sure if it will return again or not......

Anyway, I did try with mobile data and phone and also cannot go to the MY version of iHerb. Different device and different connection.

So it is not limited to Unifi but Celcom also...... rclxub.gif

Remember, the MY version is blocked but the US version can go............

I think you have some VPN on which you forgot about. Others also tell me they cannot access my.iherb.com.

i access via Maxis data also ok...
But not for Celcom network data.....(like XOX and Tunetalk....)
Possible is due to they all use TM services?
*
iHerb support told me themselves their tech dept also says TM and Unifi is blocking them. Confirmed thru email. They said they are trying to resolve the issue by talking to TM...... laugh.gif As if that will do any good. TM has been blocking them for many weeks now at least.

But what is strange now I try with other DNS like Google and Cloudflare but still cannot.

Hmm. I can access with UniFi and Digi but not Celcom though.

Very strange situation isn't it?

Some people here say they can access with Google or Cloudflare DNS, while I still cannot.

And some say Celcom also block while you are saying Unifi can.........

Very strange.

By right they block by TM DNS. Can use public DNS to by pass it....
I no sure why you unable access to that even use public DNS....

But some of us still able access with public dns.....
Just to let you know that only.....

Maybe dns setting wrong?  hmm.gif
other than this website, other website which need public dns you also able to access?

This i happen before when i change to Unifi.....
*
Maybe DNS settings wrong, I don't know. I just set it in my router settings page. Reboot router and that's it.

I guess we can all agree that Celcom is blocking iHerb as well then. laugh.gif

(But the question is why).

TM's DNS polluted my.iherb.com
which original DNS record should be pointed to Cloudflare IP but they polluted the DNS record with their own DNS server (1.9.1.9) become 175.139.142.25.
This IP is only for those polluted-dns site like P***hub and will redirect to a "MAKLUMAN" page if MCMC block it.
Example of MCMC blocked webpage
But weird is MCMC didn't add the host name = my.iherb.com into their IIS server which will show u a 404 error page
maybe TM block it themselves only? like blocking P***hub IP address (Not DNS pollution , direct blackhole the IP address)
user posted image

Solution : Change to Cloudflare / Google DNS , remember if you have IPV6 on your router usually ur request will go through TM's IPV6 DNS first , so if u set 1.1.1.1 still no use since its IPV4
*
I am only using IPV4 all this while. Maybe that's why changing my DNS didn't work. I had a bad experience with IPV6 some years back when IPV6 was new and never bothered with it since.

So for Windows 7 (I am still on Windows 7), should I just tick the IPV6 box in the Network Settings and also for the Router? Not sure how to do for the Router.....

So confirmed lah TM and Celcom at least are blocking iHerb Malaysia.

I use Celcom for mobile hotspot and still can access the website. I use Google DNS at my laptop.

It is my.iherb.com that is blocked. Not iherb.com

Take note.

All of you are saying using Google DNS or Cloudflare DNS works, but how come doesn't work for me?

I suspect because I only use IPV4?

I wish someone can guide how to make the Google/Cloudflare DNS work?

I doubt can ask TM people to help since TM is the one blocking....

And blocking also in half past six manner (typical of Malaysian way)!

How did you set your Google DNS?
If you set it correctly you should able to access those sites
*
That's the point, I cannot.

I just set it in the router settings (D Link).

And change the primary/secondary DNS as per needed.

use this to check https://surfshark.com/dns-leak-test

and paste the screenshot here see what dns are you using
*
Don't understand. I see IP addresses there which says belongs to "Prism Trans Active". And one belonging to Cloudflare (I am using Cloudflare DNS).

Is this a sign of DNS leak?

Prism Trans Active belong to TM

meaning you still using TM DNS that why you unable visit the site.

i think your primary dns is TM and secondary was Cloudflare.

try to check your dns option there isit correct input for the dns
and
try do a ipconfig /flushdns at your command prompt see whether still have this issue or not
*
Well, I set my Primary DNS as 1.1.1.1 and Secondary as 1.0.0.1 which is as per Cloudflare instructions.

And did this in the Router Settings.

So how come the TM still can take over my DNS?

Not sure about Chrome or Edge, but on Firefox you can also just enable the DNS over HTTPS option and select Cloudflare or NextDNS as the provider under Network Settings in the browser Preferences. Obviously that will only work for browsing on Firefox, but if he/she is having so much trouble it might be the simplest method.
*
Yes, it worked, thanks thumbsup.gif

I noticed that in my Firefox settings, the Enable DNS over HTTPS was not ticked. After ticking, and with DNS as Cloudflare one, now can work.

But Chrome still cannot. whistling.gif

Thanks you alls! rclxms.gif

Better check if your PC is free of malware / back doors / virus / hack.

Maybe some guys from TM or maybe Maxis messed around with this setting in the past, because I did call them over for help throughout the years when I had issues. I myself won't mess around with those settings.

Or maybe this setting is not enabled by default? Even in Chrome, they hide this and don't encourage the user to enable DOH.

But now I learned, this enables the ISP to insert themselves into my DNS queries. No wonder having all these odd things like cannot go to certain websites from time to time. It's rare, but it happens.

In this iHerb case, it looks like they blocked the Malaysia site. Otherwise I won't be having this issue to begin with. I know as of few months ago when I last ordered from them, the MY version was working alright.

Yes multiple times. I keep checking the cable but it's all tight. This issue happen right after they upgrade my speed and change the modem. Haiz. My remote desktop connection quality also drop. Affecting my work

It's nothing to do with your equipment la.

Today is very bad. Very unstable.

Anyway, there is a lot of "noise" about WW3 now, so if there is a war, first things to go is the internet (submarine cables will be cut).
