I switched from Maxis to TM early this month and got the RM20*24 months rebate on the 300mbp plan
you can find agents online providing this discount
Not sure how the bills would look like as my first bill won't be unavailable until 28 this/next month

My own experience, fiber broke on the day of installation
They fixed it 2hrs after I called them
During installation, the Unifi's technician told me if anything happened on the ONU side (LOS, ONU fried etc) call him first
He can fix it foc and faster than contacting Maxis and transferring to Unifi

Not sure how it works for other Maxis users

If you register for Maxis on TM infra, they'll come in 2 groups
1st, Unifi technician to install the ONU
After it is done, Maxis technician come to install router

In my case, Unifi technician gave me his personal number after installing ONU (a sticker on my onu)
Told me if anything happen on their side (before router), call him first
You cant call TM directly as they wont entertain you, since you are not their direct customer
Who knows I got to call him just hours after the installation as he didn't fuse the fibers together correctly shocking.gif

Yes, and I did called the maxpert guy who installed my router, he also refer me back to the unifi technician.
I don't care who I need to contact, as long as they're capable of fixing it quickly. Cause my house's cell signal is weak, I can't make or receive phone calls without vowifi.

Still, I'm 2 weeks in. So far so good.

Chinese websites loads a ton faster than T
No more YouTube bufferings, Twitter images load instantly.
Yeah, I'm happy

My friend's 100mbps package contract will end early next month, TM's marketing department spam calling him daily and asking him to recontract.
The best they could offer is 300Mbps RM199, given Rm159 with wifi 6 mesh router.
He asks them to give him RM129 300mbps loyalty package, told the telemarketer Maxis promised to give him the same plan for just RM149 plus 6 months free.
Guess what's the reply?
"erm sorry xxx, kami unifi sudah bagi promotion lah"

Already registered interest with Maxis, if TM still refused to give him a cheaper option by this Friday
It'll be sayonara Unifi

Just take a look:
Unifi 100mbps 24 months, (Rm129+6%)*24=RM3281.76
Unifi 300mbps 24 months promo given to him, (RM159+6%)*24=RM4044.96

Maxis's promo for users transferring from TM, 6 months free internet, (RM149+6%)*18= RM2842.92
Even when Unifi provide him 300mbps for RM129, it won't be cheaper than Maxis within contract rclxms.gif
