people forget that HK and the mainland is the same country...with a very powerful central government........that's the structural glue that keeps them together.....separately, HK aside from its colonial heritage is pretty much culturally similar to Shenzhen....both being in the cantonese area and every single one of them are chinese....they eat the same thing, celebrate the same festivals....

SG and Johor...lol......get over the Malay chinese divide first then we talk about the real things......

There's a reason why a common Central bank did not work, there's a reason why BND and SGD are still pegged while the ringgit has cirit to 3.5 to a dollar....there are fundamental issues that were never really solved, all these are just baloney talk
