Is it reasonable? If the same contractor doing dismantling and installing, maybe can tekan a bit on the dismantling cost... Dismantle and plastering it back should be max 1 man 2 days job. How much are they paying their workers to charge you RM480? On the installation, I think for RM35 psf I will expect slightly more premium windows materials. Aluminium how many inches? Oh, and you probably can't re-use the grill... Need to think about it too. This post has been edited by ComingBackSoon: Dec 28 2020, 11:03 PM

So you are saying the dismantling cost is on high side? And secondly I need to find out what type of windows are they offering What constitute premium windows material? I was at a hardware shop and saw that they have ready made windows. I never knew this. The windows look okay (unfortunately I didn't take pictures of the window, as there was only a sample display), so I can't tell you if the metal is thick or not, if the frame is sturdy, etc. Maybe you can check if you go to a big hardware shop near you. I went to this physical store Yisheng hardware, maybe you can WhatsApp them and ask if they can send you photos of the windows.

Dismantling and disposal seem pricey. You can technically get a pry bar (crowbar) + hammer + saw to DIY the dismantling, or even buy a branded multitool for half of that 6-700, https://www.lazada.com.my/products/worx-wx6...4353944710.html then chop it into smaller pieces and throw it in the trash.
