Not 100% true. This saying is not infallible.

I will give you an example or analogy.

Johan Cryuff and Zidane had both done great things as players, and taught players, young and old, in their capacity as managers later..They conquered the world whether by doing or teaching...

Do you think that Barca and Real Madrid pay peanuts for their service as trainers and Managers?

Not just these two. We also have Simeone, Guardiola etc as examples..

Do you understand this concept?

Do you find many local content in YT?

Is it comprehensive enough?

There are but I don't listen to them.

I learn more of macroeconomics to see the bigger picture and Learn how to read company annual reports. Then apply it to my investment

Lately I've been learning up on technical analysis as well to understand chart patterns

So far what I've learned is pretty comprehensive

It is believed that 70-95% of all people trading lose money.

I would estimate this would go up to 90-95% for people taking these classes, since:
1 They believe there is a shortcut way to earn money in the stock market,
2 They already start negative since they need to pay money for these classes.

Football players teach because of ageing body and thus limited them physically. Stock gurus also got this problem? Perhaps they are good at teaching and not trading. Do you want to learn from them then?

I'm just elaborating about the saying, that's all...

As for the issue regarding this topic, I guess finding a middle ground between two extremely polarising opinions is a good start to find the answer to the question..

There are all kinds of teachers out there just like any other profession...

I know a brilliant coder & full time trader who creates his own indicators & screener tools... tons of ppl bugging him to teach & share his tools, so he did it for a small fee. No problem in that.

On the other hand.. you have those gurus who charge crazy amount for basic info. Ppl are willing to pay, supply & demand.

1. learn basic trade
2. do some trade, win lose ok, at least got some win ok la
3. keep on showing the winning trade, market it kaw2
4. start to create class/subscription
5. money start coming in
6. roll the money to show some wealth (house, car, lifestyle)
7. keep trading to ensure fresh winning trade to show in class/ads/screenshot
8. relax, because more money will come from class/subs

Take Dato Dr Nazri Khan (DDNK)  "tak hensem takpe janji kaya"  for example.  Is it possible that he eats enormously both ways,  that is through charging shark prices for his classes and through trading? Perhaps he earns more through conducting classes compared to through trading on his own?

In this thread I propose that we discuss DDNK as a case study. From the data that I gather from the trading community,  he is actually a real deal and genuine. He is a mentor and well-respected figure within their community,  with many students, ex-students, followers and alumni.

It's just...

Why should people who have "made"  it in life become more greedy? Khidmat masyarakat is never found in their dictionary?

For the non-initiated,  his comprehensive classes are easily charged around rm7K+++, or even more. We could use those capital to trade right away right?

I guess the best way to navigate this is try your best to find stock market,  fcpo or forex "experts" out there who charge the cheapest or less among the trading community,  and learn to trade through reading books,  Internet  and try-and-error.

What was your guys' experience?

later they ask u back 'do u prefer to burn all that 7k in a trade because u don't have knowledge? or u use that 7k to gain knowledge first in my class and make rm70k after that?'

Depends on how much training. For adult training, the rate usually is 1.5k/day at hotel hall..

So if there is content for 5 days, it's fair value.
