Hi friends, I'm an investor mostly in Unit trust and robo advisor platform "STASHAWAY". Actually looking to invest in US based index fund Preferring to invest in VOO (Vanguard s&p 500 index etf) via TIGER BROKERS. I don't have bank accounts in Singapore. If any deposits and withdrawal to and from TIGER BROKERS will be charged higher fees? Is it safe to invest in tiger brokers from Malaysia?
Anyone from Malaysia, can share your experience and opinions using these trading platform?
Tq

QUOTE(Barricade @ Jun 14 2021, 07:18 PM) Most of us are Malaysian but we have Singapore bank account. I'm foreigner residing in MALAYSIA with resident pass. So chances of opening bank account in Singapore is less. Anyway am I able to transfer funds from Malaysia Banks directly to my TIGER BROKERS ACCOUNT?

Hi friends. I'm looking into invest in US ETF via TIGER brokers as their fees are much lower than some platforms which operates in MY (as much as 8.80USD + stamp duty charges) per trade. For deposit, I'm gonna use "transferwise", but for withdrawal, it possible to withdraw from TIGER brokers to transferwise directly. Since I'm a foreigner residing in MALAYSIA, I'm not allowed to open bank account in SINGAPORE. Or is it possible to MALAYSIA bank account. If possible, what are charges incurred for direct withdrawal to bank account in MY?
