erm if that's occuring to ur keyboard, u might wanna try hard resetting your phone as there might be some application causing it. Mine got the same problem last time when i install some applications and even uninstalling doesn't help, must hard reset oni can fix the problems...

For the latest rom, just login into your account at HTC website and download the latest rom there...

If not I can try asking some of my handphone sellers see any one of them have parts.. but do take note if u wan it cheap, those parts will not be Original ones... usually parts from China or wat lo...

anyone know what version of 838 pro this is? Found this at lelong and would like u guys comments cause a friend may be interested to purchase. Because the PDA in the picture though having DOPOD's logo isnt similiar to the ones int this thread's 1st post.....Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, this is DOPOD 838 without PRO word. Different model from Dopod 838 Pro. Anyways, I would like to know which leather pouch looks nice for this model? I just bought this PDA phone today and glad to know we have a thread at here.

Anyone especially the expert, what would you recommend me to do/check/download for 1st timer PDA user?Appreciate much for your help.

Yeap tat's Dopod 838, not 838 Pro, a totally different model.

Leather pouch tat will look nice? I would say... None!! Most of the leather pouch will make the phone look weird, but some of the so called good ones are : Krussell Case, or u can go for T-Grab's casing (try google both of them, there's very few leather pouch available for Dopod 838 pro anyway), tried both, preffered T-Grab and used it for 6 months until i found crystal case.

I personally preferred crystal case coz the phone looks better and I don't need to open up the leather pouch everytime i receive calls or sms.. But hard to get in msia though.

better use your pda phone with leather case .. .

hie guys I need help here.. just bought myself a laptop with vista OS and the problem is it doesn't sync with my 838pro... anybody got this problem before??

how do you sync with you 838pro with Vista??

connect ur dopod to usb cable,go start menu>programs>internet sharing

choose either usb connection or bluetooth connection. i suggest BT connection so ur dopod able to charge concurrently coz my dopod charging having problem when connected using usb connection, sumtimes charging, sumtimes not.

if using bluetooth, u nid to go to lappy bt menu, look for network access,select ur dopod 838 pro. done. if using usb, it's auto connected when u press connect at ur dopod

no need, all the while its like that. either u put at windows folder or if u want to keep them at storage card, u need to put them at the my document folder.

for sdhc card...what kind of update is needed......?
