Great, so the thread reactivated again by today. Hohoho...
Well, actually i'm a fan of Wish.. a dreamer too..
Is there anyone here who owned a Wish?
Cause would like to know how much for the car service cost normally at Toyota Service center.
And also wish to know is the accessories for Wish is expensive? For example the absorber etc. if compared with a normal sedan car.
Insurance definitely not cheap, this i know. Fuel consumption around how many km/l? smile.gif

Happy New Year to everyone..

I'd already saw the new stream on the road, just in front of me. But then, other than the head of the stream which like odysey is nice and new, i still think wish looked nicer ler.. Cause the new stream made me feel that it looked more like a 4WD then a MPV. Sigh..
It's also cheaper than new Wish.. But then.. I still like Wish more. Hohoho..

FYGI, I'm can only afford a 04 Wish. Can't afford the new one which cost RM156k. sad.gif

Most of the cars or any vehicles for sure will required more fuel to move the vehicles if the number of peoples inside is getting more and more. This we can't skipped.

As i mentioned earlier, Wish only weakness is the aircon can't really reach the last row even with the so called aircon booster highlighted in the Toyota site.
other than that, it's still stylish. Of caused in this case don't talk about the new look of new Stream lar.

Bad news is the main point is i won't have the budget of more than 120k also. That's like holding my neck while walking. So can count the new Wish and the new Stream out. As i could only afford a 2nd hand / recon Wish. Old stream which is much cheaper need not to consider. smile.gif

Hahaha... Lagi i know, but what can do, my economy can't go for new one.
At first i also thought about Civic somemore, it's price almost same. But then considering on fetching people more than 6 then headache already.

If the new Stream is around 120k how nice. Then i no need consider so much already. Haha..

Innova is like a bigger Unser or Avanza. Rather take Civic than a 4WD lookalike MPV. tongue.gif

Mazda 5 looked not bad. But then, still it's over 120k lar, bro. In addition is i know Honda and Toyota are famous in less fuel consumption. At least that's what i found out about Honda City, Civic, Wish and VIOS. Other models i didn't researched much on it.

Never mind, i guess not much option also since the budget is fixed.

But if anyone who is a Wish owner, do tell me the standard mileage service charges, fuel consumption (?km/l), Wish accessories part's price etc.
Need to know it before i get the Wish. Much appreciate. Thx. smile.gif

To be honest, i test sit in avanza before. Like the same phrase mentioned by others earlier, passenger from the last seat will hate the driver or owner too as the last row is more suitable for children. Adult wise, i guess it's ok if they don't mind to be like sardin in their tin especially for hourly ride to outstation. Hohoho.. For me Avanza is more comfortable for only 5 compare to 7.

No offend, it's just my 2 cent.

QUOTE(tishaban @ Jan 4 2008, 04:55 PM)
My 1.8l Wish is from Naza, bought it years before UMW sold them. I change my oil every 10-15k km, using fully synthetic costing maybe RM230 or so. The recommended service interval is 15k km (label on hood in Japanese). Fuel consumption when driving mostly on highway averaging 120km/h can reach as high as 16km/l but for average driving of 60% highway it's around 12-14km/l
*
Wow.. Guess what, your 16km/l or even 14km/l is almost double of my Wira fuel consumption which is around average 8km/l. Now i gained one supportive point which shows my reseach info is correct. Refer to the comparison, I believe Wish will definitely more preferable than Wira right?
But tishaban, so far have you required to change any part of the Wish yet due to spoiled or whatever? Got people tell me that Wish part is expensive and advised me not to take it. What do you as a actual user think? And is the last row really that hot?

i drove a 2.0litre CBU wish before
even toll is more expensive than petrol (from kl to northern johor)
really save petrol
*
andyjyneo, that's another thing i wish to know. Is the toll for Wish / MPV similar as car's toll or simply higher abit?

Thanks guys, I finally got some information i want. thumbup.gif

Wooo... not bad not bad.. means now only thing left that i need to know is the part / accessories of Wish only. Whether they are really expensive like my friend said or it is just like normal Toyota models and Honda model's part which is like standard car price and can be obtained easily. icon_rolleyes.gif

exactly
wish 2.0 CBU is really worth it, i must say
but stream isn't that bad
new model is really cool
*
Too bad not enough budget for the new Stream. sad.gif
But however, is the 1.8 Wish ok too?
Caused i guess 2.0 will be abit costy in term of car maintenance service and the road tax insurance.
What do you think? smile.gif

stream is only RM15xk only
wish 1.8 is not okie
FC is quite high and not powerful
there's no tiptronic in wish 1.8

*
I think stream OTR price is less than 150k. Something around RM149k if not mistaken from the honda site.
Stream's shape looked abit like 4WD for me. smile.gif

I thought the lower the cc means the FC will be lower. Eventually i'm wrong er?
If 2.0 can save more FC i don't mind to take it into consideration cause only 2.0 have overfender as well.
But just worry the road tax and service charges also high.

got lah . i driving one . though i say do not get the wald wan . l

Well if u ask me.. I personally too doesn't like WALD... Hehe..
Been surveying around few shops.. , some gave half year warranty, some one year (on Motortrader), some 3 months and some even no warranty.
My worries is how do i even know whether the Wish has experienced some accident or not.
There's too much different on pricing. Some can be found on RM105k, some until RM139k.
doh.gif Confusing.

AirBooM, That's what i about to ask. How much does it cost to install the 3rd row Aircon blower. Been looking around the WCM forum but can't find that thread yet.

Travies if can i wish to take Grandis and Stream too. But my budget should not exceed RM120k is my main problem. Furthermore 2.0cc above roadtax very gao. That's y i guess i should remain to recond 1.8 Wish below 120k.

climacool, new stream is cheaper than new wish. Cool front design, but body looked more like SUV than MPV feel for me. smile.gif
