Oh, I see. I didn't proceed with activation and I assumed IC screenshot would be asked as well. Didn't know it's two separate matters. My bad. Thanks for correcting.

You can try ask shopee just reverse charge the excess amt back to the same CC which was used to topup. On condition they do it fast². Then no fee for them and no billshock for you.

are you saying there are 2 steps

shopee pay activate just enter IC details. then can use shopee pay ?

shopee pay verify is screenshot IC and face, to increase the wallet size ?
