I've got no one to play this with so I'm playing with my 4 1/2 year old son. It's a trying exercise in communication skills, teaching basic hand eye coordination and gaming mechanics and explaining why the mommy and daddy are getting a divorce.

I'm currently stuck at the stag beetle - are there any difficulty spikes ahead?

oh wow you managed to clear the wasp section. that's interesting.

actually yes, it does get harder. for most 'gamers' it should be easy to complete but for the untrained, yeah it would be a challenge.

unfortunately the game doesn't have a difficulty setting.

but still fun.

We made it through the robot wasp and the underwear plane escape. He's got some basic platforming skills from mario odyssey, can just about handle left stick movement/right stick aim thanks to Roblox and I think I've managed to teach him the difference between left and right. I'm still doing most of the heavy lifting playing the father which for boss fights means not dying when he does so which restarts the boss fights.

All the time, I'm telling myself - if i can 100% Sekiro - i can do this lol.
