dont have expensive hobby or car. When u are 30+ sure u can afford 1m house already.

I think really need to (1) existing cash generating assets/investments (2) able to pull the belt when needed when things go awry.

If the property completed and it’s for investment, rental can subsidise a good portion of it. It’s a numbers game.

Don’t be poorfag.

I bought a factory lot for biz RM700k, fully paid off in 10 years. Easy only.

Get high-paying job. Now can kolos.

You bought 800k house then rent or airbnb
Then bought 200k apartment then rent to banggalaaa
Then repeat until bank reject your mortgage loan



Caveat this steps can be a plan or just a dream for some.

Pay until die. After that who cares wat happen to d house.

Paying 3.5k/mth look easy for 1st year.
When 2nd year already start to regret and looking to let go. Then those buying 600k condo, 1 year later see lelong can sell 400k. Don't fall into these trap

or, pay enough down payment upfront.
