1. basic equipment such as mask will cost you around 150 +-, other equipments are pretty much can be rented from a field, but lets say you do want to have a marker for your own self, that would be another extra 800 ~ 2000, depending on what expectations you have on the marker. It's pretty vague on what you're trying to ask... if u just wanna go to a field and shoot paints with frens, 100~ 150 per head should be a good start.

2. again, it depends, if you're just a casual player, a briefing is needed to understand how the game goes and the rules and such. However, if you would really like to be serious in paintball, joining tournaments and such, there are proper training for that too ! just walk up to any seasoned player, be humble and tell him you wanna learn how to play better paintball, most of them would be happy to help. however, your determination is the key to success.

3. I doubt there's anyone bringing in the Airrow Gun. Malaysian scenario scene is still more focused on "raining pellets" or "sniping" so by having an airrow gun in the scenario game would means die a horrible death being rained by pellets. ( unless you're playing Robin Hood scenario game then that's another case altogether... )

hope the reply helps.

legal if you have a firearm licenses. but then, its somewhat of a grey area. Paintball is very well known these days. Some might say that its a form of fire arm, some might not. if you're really keen on owning an X7, you can buy one at any of the pro shops we have. just try not to rob a bank with it or flaunt it in front of a police officer.
*
technically, under malaysian firearm law, which categorise firearm as something with a trigger mechanism and shoots projectile out thru a barrel... hence sad to say so, paintball markers are considered firearms.

Owning a speedball marker might get u into less problem than an X7, say if both markers were to be stopped during a roadblock.

and if the police really wanna kacau, the x7 will get it even faster..

problem here is, eventhough u can have multiplecopies of id tag, membercard, it does not work like a firearm license. so it's still up to that officer's decision to make your life troublesome or not. my advice, don't kepp your marker in car.. always head straight back home after a game.

x7 .. try calling skirmish to check, they are the only few shops that carries tippman markers.

register tournament wise, u can join a leg of MPOC or NPL.

Hi! This my first time playing paintball & I need some guide from expert.
-Between the 4 places, which offer better enjoyable eviroment? Xtion Painabll Park, Putra Paintball Park, Bangi Paintball or Extreme Park @ Sunway.
-Beside the 4 places, any other places I should check out near UPM? (I & my friends live near UPM.)
-For new comer, does 100 bullt of paintball enough for 1 section of game?
-How long does the game last?
*
1. Well, i've been a customers for Xtion for at least 5 years so I would be buyers to judge. and i haven't been to all the other places listed.. so if u ask me. xtion is not a bad choice.

2. It's solely up to u to check or not to. smile.gif

3. well, depend on how trigger happy you are.. I've seen people using less than 50 bullets in a game, and of course I've seen people using more than 200 bullets a game. It all boil down to what are your game style and strategies.

4. Speedball generally last 5 minutes a game, Recreational games is usually 5 minutes, Xball lite in Malaysia last for 10 minutes with max of 5 sets, Woodsball / Jungle Balls may last from hours to a full day. It all depends on what game format are u playing.
