I want to try out paintball with my friends some time this year (we have not played before).
Now, I'm stuck with 3 choices.

1)Astaka
2)TT Sports
3)Extreme Sports

I've been finding for details for these sites,
but the details is kinda old and I'm afraid some details might have changed
or the details aren't detailed.
So, is there anyone kind enough to give a full, updated detail for me?
Thanks in advance.  smile.gif

P/s : Can also suggest other paintball sites which is in Petaling Jaya/Subang area with details too.

TT Sports had updated their website lately...
online bookin available as well or u may just call/fax/email them for more detail and bookin...
if u're student n play on weekdays, it's cheap enuff especially for pellets...

::thinkin of group up a team, any newbies interested...hoho, I'm newbie as well

Guys,

greetings! I'm kinda new here and just took up paintball as a new hobby (a part from other fun things to do while I'm still breathing!!) I need some advise on the maintenance of spyder pilot (couldn't afford high end markers). hope you pro's wouldn't mind to share b4 I invested some RM. My objective to upgrade : more accuracy, improve distance (without compromising the 300fps rule)
1. upgrade on the board - is it really help?
2. longer barrel (16" carbon fiber) - more accurate?
3. My halo hopper cannot feed faster enough to complement ramping mode. What should I do?

Sorry to barge in like this but how much does an untouched/never been used Proto Switch EL helmet go for?

Bought it a while back to help exkay photograph the sport but unfortunately, couldn't commit to it.

Hi there.

Answers are as the following :

1) Yes, upgrading the board does help to save your battery, smoother operation and a new software is in.

2) Having a longer barrel doesn't mean it's more accurate. Most of the ballers only use 14" because it is shorter,
easier to move. What determine your accuracy is how you hold your marker, barrel bore size matched with
the pallet size, the weight of your bolt and operating pressure that lays on your pallet during fire.

3) It should be enough if your marker is capped at 15 bps since the halo is capable to feed at 20bps. But, i suggest
you take the Velocity Selectforce which enables more function such as tension setting and more.

Come drop by this saturday and sunday (1st & 2nd Nov) at MAPAAC Astaka. We are having our MY-NPL Grand Final there thumbup.gif

Hi,
i'm juz passing by here....here's a bunch of questions to ask...

1. what is a budget for a beginner paintball shooter like me since i'm quite too new in this field?

2. is there any training required for paintball?

3. does this product called "airow gun"(a paintball bow) are available and sold in Malaysia? this product mentioned is made by Bowtech. Can anyone find out about that since i'm quite curious and found out that it is used for paintball shooting in the US.

that's all from me....i'm juz asking since i'm curious to know more of paintball shooting.I hope you guys can enlighten me on this.

Thanks and have a nice day. biggrin.gif

1. basic equipment such as mask will cost you around 150 +-, other equipments are pretty much can be rented from a field, but lets say you do want to have a marker for your own self, that would be another extra 800 ~ 2000, depending on what expectations you have on the marker. It's pretty vague on what you're trying to ask... if u just wanna go to a field and shoot paints with frens, 100~ 150 per head should be a good start.

2. again, it depends, if you're just a casual player, a briefing is needed to understand how the game goes and the rules and such. However, if you would really like to be serious in paintball, joining tournaments and such, there are proper training for that too ! just walk up to any seasoned player, be humble and tell him you wanna learn how to play better paintball, most of them would be happy to help. however, your determination is the key to success.

3. I doubt there's anyone bringing in the Airrow Gun. Malaysian scenario scene is still more focused on "raining pellets" or "sniping" so by having an airrow gun in the scenario game would means die a horrible death being rained by pellets. ( unless you're playing Robin Hood scenario game then that's another case altogether... )

hope the reply helps.
