After I saw this thread I go look at few of his wiring inspection videos. It's good that he pointed out on those makan duit wireman not following specs. House without proper earthing, cable not following proper specs, points for aircond and heavy duty appliances, no RCCB for water heater etc etc.
While it is good if ppl can do the job at a cheaper cost, don't skimp on matters like this. No matter how much money you have, if kena electricuted you cannot bring back life.

My landlord hired this guy before for rm500 to check something, talk a lot but never fix anything at the end

I mean if he points out the danger and hazard from the other contractors work, I don't see anything wrong with him ketuk them.

I remember before I moved in into this house,. I got my regular trusted electrician to check every single electrical points. He found one if the switch in the upstairs hall was wired terbalik. Imagine what will happen if I touch that switch.
