My 'short' review for my ps5 (digital unit)

- The 'installation' of games n loading time is snappy. Just my Internut speed is abit slower

- Chat Party voice output at Dualsense is by default. And cannot change to TV/Hdmi output UNLESS u input mic/condenser/headset at the Dualsense. 

- The mic on the dualsense is excellent. U dont need to get very near to the controller. And adjust the volume of ur mic voice. I tried with my friends and they said my voice is very loud lol.

- Save Games crossgen Compatibility?
only tried AC Valhalla & COD Cold war..& I have bad news for u..These 2 games were not crossgen save games compatible lol. BUT. AC Valhalla have its own save game progression by its own cloud storage via Ubisoft Club profile login. Make sure u register Ubisoft acc n login in game if u play fron ps4 & plan to play it in ps5 later.

Hi anyone of you started playign COD cold war?Is there any issue with PS5 running this game?Like crashed and brick /glitch /break your console?

Just playing Ghost of Tsuthima and Day Gone all these while.

In my opinion, unless you are gaming on pc and consistently upgrading your rig to latest high-end hardware every year, else high refresh rate is not really that important especially for console. I predict after around 2-3 years, most of the games on console will still be only 30fps. the developer of video games always prefer high fidelity graphics > frame rate.

Now we are seeing a lot of 60 fps or even 120 fps title on ps5 is due to backward compatibility. Upcoming true next-gen games such as forbidden west, ratchet & clank most likely will only support at the maximum refresh rate of 60hz. Don't be surprise if only 30fps is supported, let alone 120hz.

Game developer will never prioritize frame rate, from marketing perspective, high graphic fidelity is the way to market the game, backlashes of Halo Infinite is the best example. Nobody wants a PS3 looking game running at 120 fps on PS5. 120hz should not be a decisive factor when choosing TV or Monitor for console. My two cents 

As a matter of fact , i did encounter issues with downloading games via wifi. The connection is not stable and it wouldn't finish downloading them (happened to large size games > 40gb) in one go.

Disconnect and reconnect won't work, it jsut won't connect anymore after disconnected and a reboot of ps5 is needed to make the connection work again, happened a couple of times now.

Not sure if anyone has the same issue?

I'm using 27GL850, good monitor but only if you play at native resolution. The upscaling of the monitor is quite poor especially from 1080p due to vertical pixel mismatch.

Wouldn't get a 1440p monitor just for PS5 until it supports the resolution.

Can play 120hz, but looks like shit.

can ps5 support USB 3.0 HDD docking station anyone? Thanks - plan to used back my seagate hybrid HDD to keep my ps4 games.

Pretty sure the way we view and define essentiality differs from the normal public eyes. We can go without food and water, but ps5 is a must!!
