Didn’t mind the dark souls 3 graphics because well, i am not yet able to secure ps5 myself till today so i will just enjoy elden ring on my aging ps4 pro

I gave up on the hype of buying ps5.
Now i am still enjoying my 4 year old ps4 pro playing farcry 5, and other free PS Plus backlogged games.

FF7 remake free downloaded since early this year also i never touched LOL.

The sound of a PS4 pro cooling fan kicking in akin to fighter jet engine taking off is really music to my ears.

Guys, can recommend what good gaming monitor to play ps5?

My budget is around ~rm2k.
From what i researched so far,

1. very few PS5 games support 4K 120Hz is it?

2. If i get a 27” 1440p 120Hz gaming monitor, would it suffice? Ps5 supports 1440p @ 120Hz reso?

3. For a 27” gaming monitor, is it worth it to invest in 4K 120Hz gaming monitor?

i called up sony malaysia.

they will start to ship 7th nov. will arrive to my doorstep in Kedah around 15 nov.
but those living in Klang Valley might get sooner though.

i pre ordered on sony malaysia website on 26th september.

the customer service lady on the phone said that sony malaysia will start to prepare for shipping on 7th.
then on 8th only will start shipping out.
then later delivery will take 3-4 business days.

so i'm guessing after 4 business days after 8th nov, means, I will get my ps5 pro approximately on the 15th nov.

they are using GDEX courier for my PS5 pro delivery since I got my first shipping notification via email last week.
I can see the consignment number but when i clicked on Tracking details, it's not ready yet though.

No matter. I will patiently wait.

but i guess those who chose to pre order and pickup at sony store will get on the 7th or 8th nov.

Good news, i just received my PS5 Pro way ahead of schedule.

picked up at GDEX hub myself this morning.
later tonight will start to transfer all the games data from my old ps4 pro to this new ps5 pro.

My first game to play is probably Demon's Soul, since I'm a Soulsborne games die hard fan.

Can't believe I didn't know about Demon's Soul back when i owned PS3. Was quite hooked up with Dark Souls 1 & 2 back then.

Just wondering if let say I just wanted to have on minimal games data transfer from my PS4 Pro to my new PS5 pro, is it possible? Maybe I just login using my PSN profile only?

i don't want to bring over my saved data. Kinda wanted a new, clean fresh install.

I was not on the same spectrum as yours on the physical games.

when i was on PS4 Pro previously, i only own physical discs for Battlefield 1, MGS5 & the last of us Part 1.

after that, it's just digital games. Besides, having physical discs still requires you to be online to do disc verification.
so i here i thought, why need still need physical disc ya?

Hence, i don't mind without the disc drive. and I don't resell used games. After buy, play kaw2, unlock everything, maybe play again up to New Game +2 or +3, then store it at PSN cloud only.

I saw the PS5 Pro Enhanced library of games.

all the prices are damn keras / expensive. All are >RM250 price range.
But obviously will buy only that I really liked and targeted though.

but then again, took the opportunity to buy Battlefield 2042 (RM80) & Far Cry 6 (RM60) via November 75% promo also.
Plus with Demon's Soul RM299, all in all i just spent nearly RM500 in one go. LOL!

gotta be careful with my wallet also.
