It is a pity that the disc drive for the PS5 was sold out in every store I went to.

I might just go full digital but digital games are often pricey. 😢

Doing transfer via Lan cable - Pretty fast. About 700gb data. I need the saving progress to continue playing the games on Ps5 Pro.

After transfer, I realise in Console storage, I have 486GB in Other category. It says "the storage space is reserved for system data needed for games and apps to work properly". Any idea how to remove it?

Oh nvm, it still transfer on the background. 700 GB gonna take less than 2hours

You can subscribe to PS+ Essential and upload specific game data

My best guess, Sony didn't update their system.

Yup, I got the GoW version.

Short review;
- It improves the graphics and makes them smoother. Some game like FF7 Rebirth really need this upgrade.
- It doesn't improve the gameplay. So if you are bad at gaming like me, upgrade to PS5 Pro is not going to help


Is it worth an additional RM1.4-1.8k? No.

If it includes a disc drive - then maybe Yes.

Is the extended warranty worth it?

Something I noticed coming from the O.G PS5 disc then to PS5 Pro, the bootup in PS5 Pro took slightly longer than the O.G.

It boot up my TV about 1-1 1/2s slower too.

Gamers Hideout did that few weeks ago. Not sure about now.

No. Because the next launch will be PS6 around Nov 2027

I've contacted Sony about extending 2-years warranty. They said, 14 days within the purchase date to be able to register the extended warranty. I pre-booked 2nd Nov, not sure if that count as purchase date when it arrived on 7th Nov.

Nope, cannot.

I tried the games I purchased digitally. The only game that displayed significant improvement on PS5 Pro is FF7 Rebirth. Most reviews said FF7 Rebirth had a noticeable improvement, others games did not display noticable improvement.

If you are not a fan of the game, you shouldn't upgrade to PS5 Pro.

I am ok to buy games digitally.
